We put in a written application for some Bristol Rovers tickets. I''m sure I read somewhere that all written applicatons had been successful but I haven''t received any tickets yet. Are these being posted out?

Oh dear. Hands off Mr Strachan!
Dionysus replied to TheGoogler's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
As they say, every player has his price. Personally I think he is one of the best players in League 1 so he must be worth a good couple of million at least. -
I am certainly not a fan of Doc but I think he has found his level and is doing an OK job. Personally, I didn''t think Nelson looked that great yesterday and he wouldn''t have looked out of place in their team.

Would you buy a patch of the pitch?
Dionysus replied to Web Team - Celia Sutton's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Only if I can charge rent every time a player runs through it. -

We don''t need no education! Hey, teacher, leave them kids alone!
Pink Floyd are bloody amazing, easily one of my favourite bands, however in using that double negative they clearly DO need education!
Or was that actually their message?

Things really are bad! Is Radio Norfolk still on air when there isn''t any football? -
Mcnally on Radio Norfolk Shortly ?

Of course they''re still looking busy. It''s only 5 minutes since you last bloody told us! -
"Been around for what seems like donkey''s years, I''d say he''d be a decent squad player to come in if we had any injuries instead of relying on the youngsters but I would rather keep Alby and Nyatanga." Did he mean, "He''s been a bit of a donkey for years...", do you think?

We signed a young full back from Crewe Who is pretty quick, that much is true He is ok attacking But is often found lacking With the defending that he''s supposed to do. Last season was the Glen Roeder show He released lots of players in one go The replacement loans Brought nothing but groans When we dropped to the division below
-
Our best players we couldn''t keep So we signed a few men on the cheap Our gaffer tried to be cunning And we hit Leage One running But we ended up bottom of the heap
-
We had a young winger from Pool Who''d make his marker look like a fool We tried hard to keep him But our gaffer was so dim He gave him away for a mule
-
There was a sh*t player called Doc Whose defending was often a shock With the pace of a snail He rarely did fail To make himself look like a co*k
So we were in a relegation battle before last season even started? A touch of the Mystic Megs there, methinks...
Hardly needed a Mystic Meg to see that coming though did it. We''ve been on the slide since relegation from the Premiership. And, to be honest, looking at our current squad I wouldn''t say it''s over yet.

CTID OTBC
brentwood / brentford...same thing!! lol.
Don''t worry - we''re probably only a few seasons away from visiting Brentwood! -
Bryan Gunn's Objective for next year.....
Dionysus replied to can u sit down please's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Its up at Colney as a part of his 5 yr plan..........can you guess.......go on.....try................. Its CONSOLIDATION! So be prepared for 2 years in this league before we start talking about stepping back up! Realistic? Or Not ambitious enough?
How do you know that? Personally, at the very least I am expecting a day out at Wembley next spring. I just can''t see the majority of fans accepting home defeats to the likes of most of the teams in League one. Gunn''ll be the target of boos and chants by the end of October and will be gone by Christmas. -
For those of you who are not deperessed enough...

Sorry, too much whisky. Should be ''depressed''. -
Dublin on the board would almost certainly lead to the reappointment of Gunn. ''Dublin said altering the composition of the Canaries'' dugout may not necessarily prove the best way forward. “I don''t think Gunny is a bad manager at all.” He said the players need to be on permanent contracts not loans.'' (Evening News)

I hope the board understands the pressure the manager is going to be under next season. I am EXPECTING to win vitually every home game with the exception of the smattering of bigger teams in the division. I am EXPECTING to win most away games. I don''t want to hear the tripe about how we didn''t win this game or that game because our opposition raised their game to claim a big scalp. I am EXPECTING us to be in the top 6 for most of the season and certainly to finish there. Minimum for me would be the Play Off final.

Maybe not quite ready for management yet! “If it was me I''d have Andy Hughes, Matty Gilks and Peter Thorne in an instant, because they are winners.”
-
Season ticket holder and a big NO! 1. He''s shown himself to be tactically inept on numerous occasions (Gow and Carney on the wrong wings, Shackell at left back, etc.) 2. He''s demonstrated that he is unable to get the players motivated for must win games (I was at Blackpool.) 3. He''s played a part in bringing players to the club that have resulted in us getting relegated. 4. He looks clueless in all of the interviews he has given. I''d bet that most of the people that want to keep Gunn in charge are the same people that have agreed with most of the board''s decisions. It''s your fault that we''re now playing in Division 3!

Not on facebook myself but has anybody considered starting a ''Don''t give it to Gunn'' page? Would help if you were 18 - 22, female and would make it to the final of Britain''s Next Top Model. -

It''s not Gunn''s fault, it''s the board''s
It is the boards fault for appointing Gunn, but Gunn must now accept that he is not up to the job and resign to allow a manager with experience to take over. Otherwise, this club will not progress and we can look forward to Division Two.
He shouldn''t need to resign. His contract has expired.

I thought his contract was until the end of the season? Or was that another lie.
