1.
As the great Roedernowhere said theirs no exact science in football management and signings don''t always work out, even semmingly good buys. Emblem would have probably done well but for injuries and Thorne up until Norwich had been a good striker at all his clubs!   The beginning of the end for Worthy came when he dismantled some of  the side that won the 1st Division in 2004 and replaced them with the half hearted Bentley, over the hill just picking up his money Graham Stuart, the past it Simon Charlton and the not good enough Scandavian pairing of Helveg and Jonnson!   Take note Paul Lambert! (not that he goes on this forum anyway!)
"half hearted Bentley," WHAT????!!! Bentley getting crooked at west ham (i still hate noble for that) was huge factor in us losing our shape/going down. Do you not remember how he crafted so much before that!? i think you''ve been reading too many red tops and believing them fella.
 2. "HATE"...is a bit too much for me to describe a rival footy club...but... 1. Ipsh*t (obvious) 2. Crystal Palace (as a resident of SE London for last 30+ years I see them as the most pointless football club around) 3. Birmingham. (Similar to Palace but even in their most successful season for eons or even ever (don’t care) still only scrape 20k in the 2nd biggest UK city. V.poor) runner up - Leeds (obvious)
 3.
Tom Jones after "the Quo", elton John, and other "radio old" dross...all a bit embarrasing isnt it? Makes my journeys up from the capital for the footy not seem so bad now...at least i''ve got a bit of choice for the rest of my entertainment. which brings me onto... ...for the past 10 years the cara rud DJ has a BIG soft spot for Queen tracks from the 70''s (not just "we are the champions" on saturday either, I "get" that one)...what was the DJ playing in the 70''s? Vera Lynn & Glenn Miller?
I''m quoting myself from a few months back... I''m a very happy man.
 4. After 20 years in the music industry I shall give you my experienced view on this track...short and sharp! The production is a little bit basic but considering it MUST have been made in the late 60''s/early 70''s I wont be too harsh. It started off pretty well but it lost its way about half way though and then petered off. It also didn’t have a lot of substance and I had trouble understanding any of its meaning. The foundations and style of the track was obviously based from an era of yesteryear which could be seen as quite charming to the great unwashed. I can’t see it topping any charts but maybe the band is just pleased to get a bit of airplay as they must be getting on a bit now so very tired. To be honest I was pleased for it to end and was surprised it was actually finished as the band seemed to be running out of steam. I was extrememly embarresed for them. Thank you. (p.s. If Norwich did anything like this I would boycott the club until someone connected to the club came and distanced themselves from it. Shameful.
 5.
Ian Wright - Sunday league (at 22), Palarse & then Arsenal.
I was think centre backs - but yep - Wrighty player for Greenwich Borough FC just up the road from me.
 6.

The thing is it is lazy journalism and / or agents trying to drum up business.I honestly struggle to remember the last time there was reasonably accurate rumours about a player before we signed him.
I hear we are signing someone call Cuerton....this came from the horses mouth...mind you a was in the field eating magic mushrooms at the time the horse was speaking to me...but it might be true
[Y][:D]
 7. ...come on lewie Crofts POTS Brighton Talyor POTS Exeter does that mean we are getting Kisnorbo! nice!
 8. "360 round the ball during". his does this lots... ...its called a "hool-a-hoop" dududududu tish!
 9.
I think there is a whole lot of extra risk associated with signing a defender from a lower league to player in a higher league. Over say a striker. A striker can make mistakes i.e. miss shots, get shots saved, get tackled at a lower risk than if a defender makes a mistake.I hope we''re not seeking to create a team of League 1 best players as it''ll be a hard dose of reality next season.
i''m not with you there Andy...if he''s good enough, he''s good enough (plus we wouldnt need a reso keeper on the bench) ;0) steve bruce - gills to ncfc to man u & alan Hansen - thisle to liverpool...are two examples i can think of.
 10. get over it shuck! christ!   ...no hang on, i''m going to start boo-ing Cody Mac...not only did he leave Dartford in the lerch, that scaffolding firm he worked for ended up being a man light for nearly a week...there''s no loyalty these days!
 11. I only saw him at the dartford friendly but agreed he looked very comfy on the ball. Plus i saw a clip of a Lincoln game ans he took the ball from his own 18yeard line all the way to the opposing goal and only just missed! Hope this is only a loan.
 12.
Lol! Oh dear. Has someone forgotten to take their medicine? Lol! I called you a prat because you said "don''t ask the source" when it was already on the official site. I don''t care who posts news first. Spencer - 1) I work at canary wharf, I''m not a "suit" Im a cleaner. 2) Since when has the wharf been part of the "city"? 3) if you get this upset because someone called you a prat you must get in a lot of unnecessary fights (and on the balance of probabilities get your arse handed to you a lot) and finally 4) thanks for making me chuckle, I enjoyed the irony of you trying to say I''m an Internet warrior by, yes you guessed it, being an Internet warrior! Lol!
a) I didn''t see the official site story...got a text from a pal. I read the pink un. b) I don’t believe for a second that you’re a cleaner...you''re a suit. c) "Internet warrior" (not sure where you’ve dreamt that one up, please tell me where I''ve said that?). Please check you’re post count, then look at mine...you’re obviously a bit conscious that "internet warrior" thing. d) (i) I don’t get in fights because I don’t get called "prat" by strangers. (ii) I don''t call strangers "prat". e) Agreed, on the City/Docklands thing...are a few miles away...I got my "suits" mixed up...apologies...maybe I jumped the gun...there''s been a bit of that today...ehy? Conclusion...you''re still a FP. [: D]   ... as Charlie Brooker sayS "NOW GO AWAY"!
 13.
No, I care I just thought Spencer''s post was better!
hahaha - you lil'' stirrer Rivvo! lol!
 14.

Dont be a prat, it''s on the official site and I posted this a minute before you. Keep up.
LMAO, girls girlsIts a thread in a forum, who gives a monkeys who posted first !!Thanks both for the news but can we not fight over braggers / posters rights ??That is pretty damn pathetic
I couldn''t give a monkeys one who went 1st Nexus, (he was the one getting arsey) i just dont like being given the verbal by a jumped up twat/suit from the city. I''ve calmed down now...apologies fellas. wharf - you''re still a FP!
 15.
Dont be a prat, it''s on the official site and I posted this a minute before you. Keep up.
BOTH 6.34 PAL! open your eyes. ...If you want to call me a prat to my face i''m right by Greenwich DLR so IF? you are in the Wharf i can be with you in 20 mins? bar 38? just whistle - i''m there you fcukin pick.
 16. Perfect scenario. We get FF for another season, and then sign an experience 35+ keeper on a year deal as a number 2. Rudd & Steer go out on loan to a small club (like Colchester Who?) ;0) and then come back next season with the experience to battle it out for the No’1 shirt.
 17. Norwich City lead race for Forster. best news for ages...hope it happens!
 18. Jon Sheffield...never saw him play but he always looked to short in the team photo
 19. Nope, purely question marks over many of the f**kwits who vote for these kind of awards! [:$] Just like Craig Flemming being voted player of the season over the Huckerby and Francis inspired team that led us to winning the Championship. Many of our fans are numb nuts who would not have the first clue how to manage a football team in a Sunday Pub league with any degree of success. Just like Craig Flemming being voted player of the season over the Huckerby and Francis inspired team that led us to winning the Championship. Its a big day today! thats the first time i''ve ever agreed with anything you''ve had to say smudge...its a new day tomo''! HAL-AYY-LOOO-YAH!

 23.
I''d love to see Abdou come in to replace him if he goes.
I''m with you there Lambo! hoola''s worst performance came at millwall away and even jimmy abdou''s "stopper" instructions made way for offensive stuff and he florished into spraying one or two passes around from the back himself. come on terriers (as i think millwall will do swidon or cafc at wemberlee) and we can have him next season. As competitions to rusty or gill - i care not. In Lambert I  trust.
