1. Arsene Wenger complaining about the standard of referees after today’s game with Man City! Didn’t hear any complaining after we played your Mr Wenger!
2. The Waghorn that most on here dismissed as being awful you mean 😂
3. Wasn’t the game it was the coach who picked the team that night!
4. But there were people at the beginning of the season saying he was guaranteed to get us 15 goals at least this season!
5.
It will take at least another three Windows to remove the remaining deadwood, bring in low cost additions and let them settle in. We are unlikely to threaten the top six during this period and even were we to get relegated we would be a large fish in a smaller pond. With no investment likely fans should adopt a more phlegmatic approach to their support. Any entertainment during games should be regarded as a bonus.
Other than maybe Jerome which deadwood has played a part in the recent games? The majority of the squad is new faces already!
6. In no way do I covet it at all Nigel, but yet again you dismiss it with a fleeting comment, as though it never happened. I never thought when I began supporting City all those years ago in the early 70s that it would happen, I always wanted, and still do, want us to be the best, you may not think so but it’s true, but there are more than one way to become the best, I’m sure Man City and Chelsea, as well as Leicester, are testament to that!
7. What happened is indeed real but how does what you think got any more credence than what anybody else thinks? You dismiss everybody who is anti board so quickly but that doesn’t mean they are wrong because as you say nobody knows what’s going to happen in truth! Did you ever think we would end up in League One when Smith acquired the club? I very much doubt it, I’m sure the majority didn’t think it would happen so to say that a new owner is not going to help is just as silly as you say we are who would like to see new owners
8.
We are poles apart I''m afraid. This blind love of money above everything we have now is beyond my comprehension.
It’s not a blind love of money it’s called realism, it’s the way of the modern game, as I say, you may not like it but it’s reality that to get on in the game nowadays you need money either from a rich owner or from being able to get a slice of the Sky money
9. So Nigel, when we were relegated to League One, under our current owners, were you happy even though it was the first time in 50 years? I ask because, you are very quick to bring up how many times we’ve been promoted under their tenure, but always gloss over this fact
10. So let’s buy some replacements, oh hang on we’ve got no money left have we!
11. Is as I said to you a few weeks ago in the pub, when things are going well there is less to talk about, but when things aren’t going well everybody has an opinion about how it should be changed. It’s one of the things that make football what it is, and it’s a damn site better than constantly talking about Brexit!
12. Whether you like it or not Nigel, today’s game IS all about money because that’s why everyone goes on about the money you get even for finishing bottom of the Premier League, and is why so many Championship clubs spend stupid money on players to try to get there, as it’s deemed the promised land. So yes money does matter, it’s now about transfer fees and wages and whether you like it or not our owners don’t have the wealth to compete in the current climate. It’s a fantasy to think that this new plan is going to produce the required level of player to get us up the top again, not in the near future anyway, it’s like all the people saying we need a striker in January, which is true, but the reality is a decent striker costs millions and we keep getting told we haven’t got millions to spend!
13. I noticed after Tuesday a few people said that the atmosphere was very flat, which indeed it was. Maybe, someone within the Club could help improve the atmosphere by going back to the tradition of a rendition of “On the ball City” instead of that stupid Parklife song when the team comes out! Maybe that would help improve the atmosphere a bit
14.
It’s a shame what happened to Grant Holt’s carreer. The success got to his head. After he left Norwich it went down with his carreer as quck as his success came. He was to impatient after Chris Hughton was appointed manager and didn’t tackle he wasn’t used every game. Big big mistake by Holt. He was a hero in the club, but decided to move and start all over at a new club and from there he went from being mentioned in the England team discussion in the media to being almost forgotten in a very short time. He didn’t tackle the success in Norwich I think and got impatient and looked for more than just Norwich and didn’t realise that this was as high he could reach in football.
Wow! You really are clueless about Holt, he never asked to leave the Club in anyway, he was told by both McNally and Hughton he could leave because Hughton had said he wouldn’t play very often!
15. We won’t sign a recognised Prem striker on loan as wages would be a big factor and we are told we’re skint. The best option you will see in January is Carlton Morris, he has scored a few for Shrewsbury so why not give him a go here? He can be no worse than Jerome or Watkins surely?
16.
No it wouldnt be Baldyboy. That was proven with Alex Neil last season. I dont know for sure but ill hazard a guess you posted on here wanting him out. We attacked every game under him pretty much.
I didn’t want him out after every game at all, during the run of 10 defeats in 12 games, yes I did want him out sooner than he went, but our owners kept him far too long. As Nutty posts 55 goals at home, whereas this season it’s a measly 6, but if you think Farke is doing a good job by turning 55 goals into 6 then that’s up to you, the football we get dished up currently is turgid and dull but some people enjoy that, I and many others don’t! Every time there is an international break we hear Farke can sort it out but he shouldn’t wait for a two week break every couple of months to sort problems out, he should be capable of sorting problems out after each game, but for me the biggest problem with Farke is that he appears to have very little knowledge of the English game, which is about to get harder due to heavy pitches and poor weather which in Germany doesn’t happen too often because of the Winter break!
17. The tempo we play at, too much tippy tappy football across the back four is stifling us
18. Maybe he would do better than he did wearing number 11 😜
19. I don’t like the current ownership and would like a change, BUT, Hoggy, I don’t feel entitled to be in the Prem or top 6, what I do feel entitled to is to be able to watch a team at home that play entertaining football, having a good go at beating the opposition, rather than watching the turgid garbage we currently get fished up because we are downscaling because of the current financial shortfalls due to in my opinion poor decisions made at the top end of the club! If we lost games by giving it a bloody good go that would be a lot more acceptable than the current fare on offer
20. And this clown is Chairman of the Club! How many other football chairmen go on reality TV shows! I’m sure in 6 months he’ll be going on Dancing On Ice! Just shows that the people at the top really don’t have the football club as their priority!
21.
If you seriously think the club hasn''t progressed since the 90s you must go through life in a coma Baldy ☺
As somebody else pointed out we did progress but now we are regressing sadly!
22. Came down from crosses where our left back should be! If Husband had been playing left back he would be slated for poor defending! Where the hell was Stiepermann on both goals?
