Lager at Carrow Road

A can of Carling ? Has it really come to this? đ« -
I go back and forth on the sale of Emi. He looked good at times in the Prem but also was a liability . Iâm sure the Club felt the same. Emi agitated all season - I donât think there is any doubt about that . He was a sulky surly player at the start of the Chumps season and ended dancing around in Carrow Road spraying beer around outside the directors entrance , enjoying the fans singing his name . Something had gone on - I assume it was promises/contracts/ money. It usually is. But you still canât shake the fact that we sold our best player . Emi was absolutely outstanding last year - and teams donât sell their best players on promotion. If you want stats our record with Emi against our record without him is extraordinary. Now of course this is all about results . If we had won 3 out of 6 we would be saying that it was a good move . We still might . 6 straight defeats however suggest at the moment it was exactly what the Media thought . A bizarre decision. Time will tell. One thing is for sure . Emi is one of the greatest players Iâve ever seen in a City shirt .

Now Off To Bookies

In order to win a six figure sum , which I take as ÂŁ100,000 minimum in general parlance . Everton were odds onto beat Norwich . Bet 365 had them at 3/5. So to go to the bookies and walk away with the said six figure sum , including your stake - by my reckoning Pig has strolled into the local Billy Hill (other bookies are available ) and laid down Circa. ÂŁ31k . Have I got that right ? If thatâs the world you are in CDM then I bow to your experience. Iâm more your ÂŁ2 acca bloke . -

First rule of comedy Pig is keep it real. No bookie on earth would take a single odds on football bet so that the punter walked with a âsix figure sumâ. Must try harder . -
Not strictly true. The trustees have to administer the trust . Not necessarily in the âbest interestsâ of the beneficiaries. Trusts are set up for a variety of reasons. IHT is a common one but so is a fear that the beneficiaries will not spend the subject of the trust ( usually money) wisely . The trust may have certain criteria - coming of age , or incremental payments ie the subject of the trust does not pass all at once . Shares can often be left in trust with a plan to protect a company as well as providing for the beneficiaries. The are many and varied reasons to set up a Trust . An interesting start would be to know who the trustees are.

Some of us did GE as part of our English O Level, Purple. It remains in my brain even though I hoped to have kicked it out years ago. Whilst correct that Miss H was Jilted , and refused to the take the damn dress off - her subsequent stubbornness is analogous of Miss Smith . I just thought, imagine pairing off Estella and Nephew Tom .

Parma - that is a great , and very surprising read. Surprising as you have (apologies) stated the obvious (selling Buendia , Farkeâs philosophy overcomes weaker teams) without the over complication that I have been critical of in the past. I suspect that as you have said it , it may not attract the vitriol that others may have received . I , like many in business, have fears around the Miss Haversham reference . It isnât entirely fair , but the refusal to see any way other than the current way does seem accurate which is a pity . Iâm so disappointed. I had high expectations for the seasons. I donât follow European football so the signings meant little to me . I hoped the players were more Buendia than Heise . They may still be , but so far they are not. My analogy of Farke is a job interview / CV scenario. DF arrives for a job at a high end job in any industry. The shareholders and their directors are looking for the best person to take the organisation forward. DF opens his pitch by saying he has had exemplary success in the lower reaches of the industry or environment in question. So far so good . But when asked about his successes at the level the organisation is currently operating in , DF has to concede he has had no success. The organisation, and all of its stakeholders is faced with a fairly simple decision . Farke has grown with Norwich and vice versa . There is genuine love for him. But his demonstrable inability to compete at this level is currently in question . But a you say , this is not the main issue of why Norwich find ourselves where we are . Good , but troubling , read Parma.

Letâs hope he is still coming back from the game. It would be good if one of his many lectures was given after he has actually been to a match. -

Have you changed your mind?
Graham Paddons Beard replied to Ken Hairy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I donât think itâs about changing your mind . Itâs about the facts occurring at the time you form your opinion. We go up . We play outstanding football in achieving the title . Farke deserves the plaudits. We go down . We have an unprecedented run of results at the end of the season , and go down with a wimper We go back up. We play , in my opinion , even better football than the previous championship winning side . And then we lose 6 in a row. The coach has not demonstrated at any time his ability to consistently compete in the league . I have no idea why you win the chumps - which is not pushover league- but are just so hopeless in the Prem. The question is âŠ. How long can you leave it ? I donât know , but I do know that the Club is a professional organisation that simply cannot accept failure over and over again. There has to be a line . Depends where the Board thinks that line is . -
16 losses in a row
Graham Paddons Beard replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Told you before . The first 10 donât count . Football was different for Norwich due to the restart. The next 4 were teams that we were never going to beat . Next - well we had a lot of new players so that doesnât count either . Next (today) âŠ.. oh I really canât be ars ed anymore . Itâs a shocking stat whatever anyone says. -
Referee today

Maybe his Dad? Might help ? đ -
Is David Coote . 3 prem matches this year - no appearances in games involving the âbig sixâ so once again a referee not deemed good enough to ref Man City , Liverpool or Man Utd this season is deemed fit for Norwich Everton. 3 games and 15 yellows. Expect a few cards - wouldnât surprise me to see a red today . Two positives Is at least an established Prem ref did the vast majority of his games in the top flight last year isnât Robert Jones- who has hit the dizzy heights of 4th Official for Man City / Chelsea .
