  1. Nasty rumours that we won’t be seeing Normann for a while ?
  2. Next level time wasting Mello. I think he was down to his underpants when he walked off. Happy days !
  3. The issue isn’t with what this ref did , but what most other refs do. How many times have you seen a team at CR waste time from the outset ? And yet the Goal Keeper gets booked in the 87th minute for taking too long to restart the game ? Remember Middlesbrough? This sort of reffing would have sorted it out . Another example of a ref correctly applying a law , but in a way that football doesn’t do consistently . Ireland want a draw away. They were slowing the game down .
  4. That's a classic article , taken from another article, that doesn't actually say anything. Buendia cannot demand to start (as far as we know he has demanded anything) , it isn't a "worry" (no one said it was ) and he might (or might not) start against Wolves. In other news, according to Cambridge Canary , Graham Paddon's Beard cannot demand that he becomes King of the World , even though GPB hasn't said anything of the sort, and it isn't a concern that GPB may not be King of the World just yet. (or indeed ever) .
  5. It’s hard to argue with this . Take a membership fee in the full knowledge that you are creating several tiers of opportunity- and then not take enough tickets to cater for those tiers? I could have told the club that London away games will be well subscribed? Arsenal was the full allocation sell out I assume ? Seemed pretty full to me . Chelsea Brentford and Spurs will be the same .
  6. I don't disagree with this. It would be good to see how many BAME players gain their badges. Whether Campbell is or isn't a good manager is open to debate, but Jerome made a specific point that Lampard was given a big budget (and failed - I added this bit!) whereas Campbell could only get a job with Macclesfield. Both I assume had the required pro licence and both played to a decent level. If Campbell had have been given the apparent competitive advantage that Frank Lampard's Derby had , his CV may have read differently, but we will never know. (I just googled and it seems that Gerrard got the Rangers job before he had gained level 5 qualification which is interesting too) As with most , its a complex subject .
  7. I think they mostly all have the Pro Licence don’t they?
  8. I think this is the point. Give Campbell the same players and budget that Lampard had at Derby , and he may have got Derby into the playoffs .
  9. Is it a fever that’s so hard to bear ? (What a lovely way to burn 🔥)
  10. I saw this on TV . He referenced Lampard and Gerrard walking into top coaching jobs with big playing budgets . And Sol Campbell starting at the bottom with Macclesfield and Southend. Cam spoke very well - an articulate guy. I recall the night the Leeds player abused him. That was swept under the carpet from memory .
  11. There are huge questions which should rightly re emerge in light of the Newcastle take over . Once again Football ignores the elephant in the room. Money from dubious / immoral sources equals ambition. Money from self funding is roundly mocked by the media . Im getting quite depressed by all of this .
  12. Great tweet today from this guy - on O’Harrah (or however you spell it) - seems like he’s an expert in Dross .
  13. Here is the answer? "Where has the money gone" and publishing plans for future plans at Colney aren't quite the same are they? Does the article mention how it will be funded? Have we spent/ accrued any of this year's money on this project?
  14. Right side 🎶we’re the right side we’re the right side we’re the right side over here 🎶 Left side *silence*
  15. I would be very careful mocking this decision . We’ll only know at the end of the season so why not wait and see ?
  16. I can’t follow any other Club. I would like to stay up .
  17. When your model is all about reaction , so that you can demonstrate traffic to your advertisers , it is inevitable that you go to further and further extremes to get the reaction. You can imagine the Talksh1te office this morning congratulating the clown on this . Norwich have become the acceptable target . It seems that you can say anything about Norwich at the moment . We aren’t trying , we are a waste of time and should have points deducted. As you say it has an inevitability about where it all ends up.
  18. Whilst technically true - from memory that was the menacing “elbow” by Buendia - causing your player to have a life threatening injury and roll in agony for almost 1 minute (before making an astonishing recovery) Not sure that incident proves much apart from the mysteries of VAR looking for “contact”
  19. Fulham spent £100m and went down. That presumably means they “tried” . I assume that Ben is the great nephew of Norman Stanley.
  20. I’m sure Ben Fletcher is a very important man. And if I’d ever heard of him I might have formed an opinion.
  21. Leicester were poor . Many of us said it at the time . That was a very poor result .
  22. Thought I would check out the Fortunes of our old friend Capt Fistpump. I am happy to report that absolutely nothing has changed for him. Yesterday he and several ex Binner chums , now plying their trade at Colchester United , lost at home to Salford . Currently Col Utd sit 18th in League Division 4 . Friends , I honestly think a statue just outside the Queen of Iceni is in order .
