  1. Because there was no need to consult EVERYONE, what a ridiculous situation that would be. If I remember correctly the club did publish a questionnaire at that time which included questions on how the badge was viewed. It just wasn't pitched as 'WE'RE CHANGING THE BADGE GUYS'.
  2. What was the ratio of wages to turnover in 2002, and what was it at the last set of accounts?
  3. Yes exactly, which is why consultation is important and why the club did it well.
  4. No, and as you'll be well aware I'm sure only a handful of people at the club know that much detail. What I can tell you is that the OSP spent a good 2-3 hours with the agency the club contracted with for the rebrand. We went through a variety of exercises to discuss what the club meant to us etc etc. We were then invited, alongside quite a few fan groups and local media to be shown the new badge and branding, and asked for feedback on it.
  5. There was extensive consultation for our rebrand and the club were very smart with how they did it. I feel sorry for whoever has to go through the responses to this survey created by Cambridge.
  6. Depends what part of the country, November 2020 was when we had the tiers. Much of the country was in tier 2 (if I remember the tiers correctly) outside of the big population areas.
  7. You know guys, sometimes there isn't a big conspiracy and it's just circumstance that people find themselves in frustrating situations. The club are clearly trying to help the chap out as much as they can, perhaps we should praise them for that rather than trying to find fault in every single thing they do.
  8. There are more important things in life than getting angry at Stuart Webber.
  9. Or maybe, just maybe, the club are going above and beyond to try and accommodate a fan who owing to this 'FA ruling' isn't entitled to sit where he currently has been.
  10. Well Colin seems to be taking it fairly well. We don't know the detail behind this FA ruling and I'd say it looks like the club are doing all they can to help him.
  11. Haven't people got better things to do with their time than get angry about this? Find a new hobby, the sun is shining.
  12. I think it's a minimum of 2k or 10% of the stadium (whichever is lower) that have to be offered to away clubs.
  13. I think it's a difficult balance for the club. Originally we were of the opinion (although I don't want to speak out of turn) that the OSP should remain as just nominated fans, but it was clear that the club wanted to have some supporter group representation also, as @Lessingham Canary says, due to the recommendations in the govt white paper. Can you have 1 supporters group and 11 fans? 2 and 10? And so on and so forth. The easy decision of course is to split it 50/50, so that's the route the club has taken. As someone standing down from the panel, I don't personally believe it's the best course of action, but the OSP has been either forgotten about by fans in general or overshadowed by the Trust. So perhaps this new way of organising the OSP will help it flourish. My fear is that the meetings get bogged down in the different agendas each group has, but that is for the nominated Chair from the club to resolve and for the terms of reference of the OSP to be stringently followed.
  14. Of course voting is compulsory 😄 I'm leaving the panel too, but the six remaining are all doing a great job + understand the challenges that will come with representation now appearing from supporters groups. And, I'm pleased to say that the taps in the South Stand are being replaced in the summer. My two years were worth it for that alone.
  15. That is true, but there are no formal meetings with other groups, only the Trust benefit from those.
  16. Yes essentially you are correct, that other 50% being representatives from six separate supporters groups. My understanding is that the only group who has regular meetings with the club are the Canaries Trust, others have no such arrangements.
  17. As mentioned above, six of the current panel are staying on for another year. They will then be replaced by a further six new fans (voted for by fans).
  18. I don't disagree, without betraying any confidences I think the club have tried very hard to get this to work with a drummer who was 'fan backed'. Who knows what will happen between now and August.
  19. I would say it hasn't been ruled out, but no decision has been made.
  20. There will still be fan representation, six of the current members are continuing on for another year.
  21. No one on the panel thought it was 'the' answer, the general consensus was that the atmosphere in the ground was better this season when it was present. Obviously it can only do so much, and whatever is served up on the pitch is the biggest contributor to atmosphere. To be fair to the club they've done a lot to support the City Elite drummer, but they can't demand his attendance. Ultimately it's his choice if he comes to a game or not.
  22. Good, I hope other people remember the same. Play the ball not the man.
  23. It's the summer (well it's a little bit sunny today), take a well earned break and try to enjoy something other than hating Stuart Webber 🙄
  24. Thought it was all a fair reflection on the season and the club, and most other things too. Quite funny to see posters on here getting all angry about Mr. Webber, yet more than happy to abuse him in the same post. Some would call it pathetic, others might use a phrase which the same people probably use without realising the irony - snowflakes.
