1.

Typical of this message board really - at least the club comes out and make a statement and then what do you get - people just picking holes in it - if they did not say anything you would all be moaning that nothing has been said in response - I am sure that some people just like something to moan at - why not just let them get on with it and stop bloody harping on about things
Bomber, everyone likes to have something to moan at, many at the moment are moaning at MPs claiming for Hobnobs.  I am sure that the Press Department expected people to pick holes in their statement, it is what happens every time any makes any sort of statement. Letting them get on with it is fair enough, but people want the club to be more transparent than they have been over the past few years, and want to see immediate action being taken.  It is not enough any more for people to let the board say something but actually do something rather different.  People want something to be seen to be being done, and before that happens they are not going to rest, and it is fair enough.  You can''t expect people to sit quietly by while our club is being dragged through its worst moments in recent history, something needs to be done, and if the board don''t realise that, or aren''t seen to be doing anything, then people are well within their rights to moan.
NCFC Star I hear what you are saying but I just cannot for the life of me see where fans are going when they keep harping on about the board and how they want them out - it has been mentioned no end of times that we have not got anybody to come in and relieve them of their duties and plough enough cash into the club to suddenly propel us where we think we should be - nearly every posting is the same ''why appoint Gunn'' or ''sack the board'' and to be honest it is getting pretty boring - dont fans realise that we have appointed Gunn because there was no other viable option unless we paid out millions for a top notch manager which we simply cannot afford - as for sacking the board they cannot sack themselves and I would bet your bottom dollar that if Delia could get out of this witch hunt and sell to a bidder waiting in the wings then she would do cos I know I certainly would.  I know I have probably veered from the initial subject but to be honest the hatred or whatever you would like to call it towards certain members of the board/management team is now getting to the point where I will probably stop coming on here which is why I presume you do not have so many on here supporting Gunn etc cos they just get slapped down.

3.
Mr Chops - interestly, apparently I''m not entitled to my view. Voicing opinions which differ from those of the pitchfork-wielding mob mean you get banned from posting almost immediately. So you can speak your mind as long as what you say is broadly in line with the views of this forum''s self-serving moderators. Please don''t kid yourself that postings on this board are representative of what fans at large are thinking. It is, however, a very clear indication of the views of the 20-30 regular, predictable, vociferous posters who wear their number of posts as a badge of honour. Personally, I''d go for quality over quantity. Having used clean language and made no insulting comments, I wonder how long it will be before before poor Mungo joins Bartholomew and Barnaby? The Pinkun forum''s motto - why debate when you can ban!" Fondest regards Mungo
Agree 100% - spot on
4. Another stupid post of no relevance whatsoever
5. The only reason they got to go straight back up was because they kept a majority of their players - which begs the question how come their players wanted to play for them in League 1 yet ours dont.
6. Why do you lot read into everything that somebody says - of course it is going to be hard - we will not have the same standard of players once the likes of Croft and Clingen (and maybe others) have left and of course other teams are going to play out of their skins when they face us (dont we when we play the big teams) - the man is only being realistic - he is not hardly going to come out and say we are definately going to be promoted is he cos then you lot would then slag him off for not keeping to his word - it is true what he has said Leeds and Forest both struggled and Forest nearly went back down there this year so nobody be fooled that we are going to beat teams 3 or 4 nil cos it just aint going to happen - even if this coaching team are not here and the likes of Robins or whoever come in I would bet your bottom dollar that he does not say we will be promoted and would probably go the other way and say what a tough task it will be
7. Getting boring now all these postings saying the same thing - no to gunn - we wont have any say in the matter anyway and certainly this message board representing a minority of the supporters that attend carrow road will not have any sway whatsoever - I think we have got the picture now regarding posters on here feelings towards Gunn and whilst I do advocate a new manager lets just give him some space and stop knocking the man
8. No doubt we will all be looking forward to the start of the next season no matter what league we are in because there is always that hope that we will do the business at the beginning of every season - we can all moan and groan about what league we are in but dont tell me that we wont be sitting at the first home game of the season willing us on to victory just as we are every year - we are such a fickle lot - if bryan is in charge and we win the first five games we will all be saying what a decision it was to keep him on yet bring in a new manager and lose three out of the first five and we will all be shouting for his head - just wait and see what happens
9.

Player of the season can leave on a free. Only at Norwich.
Please stop finding any reason to have a dig!   While I''d agree that Croft was one of our best players this season, he is the most unjust player of the year I''ve ever known.   Whether we stayed up or not I wouldn''t be bothered if Croft left cause he still looks far better than what he actually is - which is a player with very little end product!
Yes I must admit that I totally agree with the above posting - in what was a shamble of a season I for the life of me could not think of anybody that deserved player of the season - for a player to win that award and yet cant even beat a person and put in a cross decent enough for forwards to run onto beggers belief - let him go save his wages and lets start to build again - I for one would not shed a tear
10. Gun will stay as will his coaching team - I cannot think for one minute that Crook and Butterworth gave up their jobs just for a three month stint at Norwich - I bet there was a clause that if we got relegated then they would be in charge for a full season to see what they can do its just the fans were never told this
11. Thoroughly agree with you Irish Canary - some people just read anything into what they see - just because his confidence is up does not mean that he has any disregard to the plight we ee ourselves in - at the end of the day he came here to play and score goals which to a degree he has done so his confidence is up for that fact rather than sit at Reading over the past few months doing nothing
12. Dont know how these players can afford to be on a pay as you play contract - if you dont play for a couple of months then you dont get paid - I certainly could not afford it in my job
13. yeah he is donating a load of turkeys for Delias sunday carvery
14. Oh dear - trouble in the ranks and he has not even been appointed yet
15.
He''s got no hair But we dont care Brian Brian Gunn He is the man to take us where we rightfully belong - THE PREMIERSHIP  Now lets be having less of this negativity and get behind him   So you all liked it then - not long now before we find out - tomorrow is deadlin day
17. Most definately - even if he could not cut it for the full 90 mins I think as a second half sub if we are not doing too well he would make a massive impact.
18. Unfortunately this is an argument that is going to split fans opinions - personally I think that he should be given at least one full season with his team (freebies or not) to see what he can do - he has had to pick up the pieces of Grant and Roeder who lets face it will not go down in the History books as Norwich greats.  He was always up against it and although it has not come off for him in these last 17 games or so I believe that it will come good if given the chance.
19. Yeah I agree RobFoyster - I am in the category where I dont think everything is lost - I have heard that players wont want to come to a League 1 team but at the end of the day we are not a Yeovil - we have a smashing grond and traing facilities and I bet there are a lot of players who would jump at the chance of coming here - It is now up to Deehan to do what he is paid for and snuff out those players - like you said if they are freebies then all well and good providing they play for the shirt although I still feel there is a massive amount of ''Costa Del Norwich'' still evident at this club
20. We aint gonna get a new board it aint gonna happen (cant sack themselves) We aint suddenly gonna get 10 new Norwich City contracted players it aint gonna happen (no money) We may get a new manager but have an inkling that they did not get Crook Butterworth to give up their jobs just for a couple of months employment at Carrow Road (although dont believe it is Gunn''s fault and would agree to giving him a full season in charge) So now the dust has settled and we realise where we are the only thing we can do is hope for the best and support the team.  Yes they severely let us all down on Sunday but at the end of the day this may be the best thing to happen to us as lets face it it has been on the cards since relegation from the Premiership.  Get relegated and build from new using the nucleus of the youngsters that we have as well as the experience of those players that remain from this season.  In all honesty that is all we can do however I do feel that with youngsters playing against the bruisers of League 1 it will take us three or four seasons to come back up.
21. I dont think Barnsley have got anything to worry about even if they lose 4-0 - now 25 mins gone and still Norwich have not got going - always the same with us take over 3000 fans to a must win game and they dont show up - what is wrong with them
22. They deserve to go down - biggest game in our history and Neil Adams just said after 13 mins Norwich have not go going yet - what does that tell us
23. I dont mean that no one should go or give vocal support I am just saying is there too much emphasis put on the fans that say we help win a game because personally last night showed exactly that it does not matter how much support you have and how loud they are they dont necessarily help a lot cos it the team is crap we will lose anyway
24. I was sitting there last night in the ground listening to the crowd cheering us on especially in the first half and was wondering if at the end of the day we do really make that much difference - we all harp on about how we are the 12th man but at the end of the day it is the team that either wins or loses a game - look at Reading last night they had about 500 fans against our 24500 fans and did it worry them - no of course it did''nt cos they went out and played and won the game 2-0 despite our vocal support - Chelsea tonight just kicked off the second half with the Barcelona crowd baying for blood but is it helping the Barcelona team no it is''nt cos they not up to the standard tonight - and finally look at Newcastle - the crowds they get and where are they in the Premiership.  I think todays professional players do not worry about the crowd as Reading showed and yes whilst we can offer good vocal support that has to be met with the players up for it and ready to step to the plate and show their metal - especially on Sunday
25. How many times do people need to be told - who is going to sack the board - are they going to sack themselves - for goodness sake you cannot sack the board as there is no one to sack them as they are the pinnacle of the management process within the club - that is probably why most of them sat quiet in the Stand and just let the idiots sing ''sack the board'' cos they knew there is no one to sack them
