2.
Not one comment on the figures given by both?
Good points but we can''t release or sell too many players because we only have 16 contracted for next season and to bring in more loans would be another recipe for disaster. Some will leave certainly, but I would guess that most will stay as we will need to keep a nucleus of contracted players and add to it with bargain signings and bringing more of the academy lads through into the squad. We''ll probably shave the player budget down to 5 million is my guess with a big sale, (Clingan?) to make up the difference after losing a big portion of tv income.
 3.
Getting boring now all these postings saying the same thing - no to gunn - we wont have any say in the matter anyway and certainly this message board representing a minority of the supporters that attend carrow road will not have any sway whatsoever - I think we have got the picture now regarding posters on here feelings towards Gunn and whilst I do advocate a new manager lets just give him some space and stop knocking the man
I haven''t knocked the man - far from it. I said I believe he would be better suited to an executive role in the boardroom, responsible for overseeing the whole playing structure from the academy to the first team. It would bring a football man to serve in the boardroom which is one of the issues fans have been calling for.
 4. Mine will be short and to the point - NO TO GUNN! Sorry Bryan but I think you should be moved up to the boardroom, and become the liaison between the board and new management. An executive director to oversee the "Football Department" (c) Robert Chase , but not as a director of football in the style of  B.Hamilton who would have sent us to the third division nine years earlier if the players hadn''t voted him out. The majority shareholders would have kept him.But remember, the board will, as soon as they have something to say, let us know. Seven hours in a crisis meeting and that''s the best they can muster up for now? I hope that the upcoming NCISA meeting might light a fire under some of the boardroom seats because doing nothing is simply not an option right now. We need to know exactly how they plan to make their promised changes and regain the trust of many supporters who no longer have confidence in their leadership.
 5.
why try and get on to the itfc board before norwich?
Got any proof of that then?
 6.

MW is living proof that a manager is only as good as his players.  Done the unthinkable at Norwich (with Stringers players), then went toEverton and f**ked it all up.  As did Curbishley at West Ham, as did Pardew at Charlton.  This backs up my point about Gunny, he knows who the s**t players are before the new season has begun!
No Quarter, I agree with you about Gunn but feel that you are being a little harsh on MW. He kept them up and was sacked prematurely in my opinion (but I think that about everyone - except Grant especially, and Roeder). But yes, they were largely Stringer''s team. The best manager we have ever had imo.
There were rumours he left the Club in 1998 for other reasons. Others might know what I''m referring too..
I think you will find it was commoning known at the time ;)
Yes it was as it was a strong topic of conversation around the City back then. If someone else wants to hint at it they can but I''m sure it would be deleted pronto.Greetings from over here in New Mexico by the way - I''m another exiled Canary here in the USofA.
 7. I meant to add they have the final say on everything at the Club, regardless of whoever joins the board or replaces ND. Ultimately D & M have to look at creating new shareholding or disposing of a portion of theirs because clearly, there is a need for new voices in the boardroom who will be prepared to inject a sense of reality into the cosy group of 5 we have in there now who appear to live in their own little world, where everything is rosy and lovely and the fans are the 12th man. Well that was until those nasty loan players got us relegated though but don''t worry everyone, our management team of legends will put everything right next season and everyone will love Delia once more. The scary thing is that I''m probably not too far from the truth by saying that!
 8. I suspect the board will just ignore the fans who are steadfastly opposed to Gunny and give him the job anyway. They have previous here for taking the unpopular option, such as appointing Hamilton and publicly backing Worthington just as the Worthy Out campaign was beginning to start up for example. It wouldn''t be a big surprise to see one of either Munby or Doomycaster fall on their sword to appease the fans baying for blood though and the Wynn-Jones will claim it as a fresh start for the Club when in reality, until they dilute their shareholding, nothing they do will make any difference whatsoever because they have the final say.

 10. It''s not on Setanta here and definitely not Fox soccer channel which is obsessed with the Premiership and nothing from the football league. Looks like our chances of viewing are getting even smaller now...
 11.
What was the away kit that season, i forget,  was it the equally brilliant tartan?
I don''t think so - I remember it being white with purple flashes on the shoulders. We also wore a 3rd kit of dark navy blue away at Vitesse Arnham too.
 12.

So may I suggest you and/or the local media ask Delia about the estimate or the  could be figure.
But this is my whole point TFAA, I am not the one who is querying her statement, you are! So. having got this far, why are you urging others to take it further?
No he is not.
Yes he is....... "If you or anybody else has a problem with Delia''s £11m quote then the onus is on you to ask her to provide an analysis to support that quote."
Precisely Lapp. Posters like TAFF and Mr. Carrow who ( they say ) don''t have any agenda, post endless ramblings, accusations, innuendo ( call it what you will ) in an attempt to to stir up trouble targeted against the club. They then have the unmitigated gall to suggest others take up THEIR issues with the club and then deny that they do any such thing.
Wrong Yankee. Posters like TFAA, Mr. Carrow and The Butler are fully entitled to question and discuss the NCFC accounts, particularly when we are struggling financially and valuable cash has been squandered on projects that were not a necessity. Just because the said posters may disagree with interpretations does not mean they are "stirring up trouble targeted against the Club." This is just a Norwich City messageboard, not a planned conspiracy against the Club!TFAA has already stated more than once that his figures are taken directly from the last set of published accounts. How can you accuse him or others of having agendas when he is simply republishing the information on here?
 13.
on the BBC''s The Archers mb in the Bull that runs to 294 messages.
As he/she forgot the link, here it is with the first post on the thread. I doubt reading about what people would do with 11 million would interest too many people here though."On Woman''s Hour this morning Delia Smith revealed that she had ''invested'' £11 million in Norwich City FC, money which she has effectively written off. I was never much of a Delia fan to start with, and now I''m even less of one. I have taken a vow never to buy anything she produces so that my money doesn''t go to Norwich City.If you had £11 million to give, who or what would you give it to?" http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbarchers/F2693943?thread=6429140
 14. IBA,Where have you heard that?Russell was quoted by Munby saying that Gunny had to get the job after the 4-0 win over Barnsley. Also, this post appears to mostly contradict what you''re saying.
 15.
Apparently, Wolves haven''t paid us all of the money as of yet, so we could just say to forget about paying the rest and we will have Shackell back. I think we willsign him. If he doesn''t get in the Wolves team while they are in the Championship, thenhe will not get into their team while they are in the Premiership.
It will probably be a similar situation to when we got Russell back from Stoke cheaper than their asking price, due to a 30% sell on clause we had put in the original sale.
