  1. It would seem that the only way to repay these loans would be to sell existing players if anyone would want them. Thus diluting the quality/experience of the squad and making the prospects of promotion even more challenging.
  2. “Please wait for the next available agent, you are caller number 34 in the queue. Please hold.” Obviously not important enough to have sufficient agents on duty to deal with Season Ticket waiting list respondents.
  3. I do not think that Andy Hughes should be sacked but I do believe that he should be disciplined. After the season of abject, dismal failure that the faithful travelling fans have had to endure it is wholly unacceptable for a coach , who has coached a squad to one win in ten games, to go over to those fans to make provocative and inflammatory words and gestures! Completely out of order. Nothing short of an apology of grovelling proportions and a docking of wages will suffice.
  4. One win in ten? Brilliant! Keep him. Give him a five year contract! Embarrassment is what we all enjoy! Hurrah!
  5. Norwich coaching staff abuse the Norwich fans? Andrew Hughes , should really be coaching a Sunday pub team , such a professional.
  6. Weakest team I can remember. By weak I mean characterless, lethargic, unbothered, careless, unprofessional . They looked disinterested and just could not give a fig.
  7. I am completely underwhelmed about the prospects for next season. Webber has spent the budget on a gamble for promotion this season. It has not worked. Complete waste of resources on some expensive and spectacular failures. The biggest spend on a squad in the history of the Club and the result was the biggest disappointment on the field that I can remember. Mid table mediocrity this season with the prospect of worse to come next season as we need to off load the expensive squad members in order to try to balance the books. Doom and gloom really . One wonders what Webber has planned, can he waste yet more money in the transfer window, does he think anyone else at the Club has bought into his vision for the direction of the Club? Perhaps he will find enlightenment half way up the side of a mountain?
  8. With responsibility comes accountability . Webber has refused to interact with the media and the Supporters and therefore we have no way of knowing what is his plan for the sporting direction of this Club nor have we any idea of what challenges have been behind the 90 minutes of end product that we get to see each match day. We can only assume that the abject failure of this season comes under his responsibility and therefore he must be held accountable. The most expensive squad amassed at Carrow Road in the history of the Club, all brought in by Webber, has resulted in the most dismal , morale sapping, characterless , disappointing season. His responsibility.
  9. According to our head coach there must be no finger pointing and especially not in the direction of his friend and his boss who appointed him. There is no blame for the 0-3 defeat at home against Swansea, certainly none that can be aimed at Webber. According to Wagner . We are all one- owners, directors, coaches , players supporters and the media. Accordingly we are all to blame. I have to respectfully disagree. There is obviously a huge degree of disconnect between the Club and the supporters and a huge degree of lack of candour from our Head Coach. Anyone who witnessed the game against Swansea could see the total lack of character and commitment from the players. The blame for this, and blame at some stage must be apportioned, does not lay with the supporters. The supporters did not appoint the Sporting Director nor the Head Coach and the supporters certainly did not purchase the squad nor pick the team nor decide on the playing tactics. Mr Wagner can attempt to deflect responsibility from himself, the Sporting Director and the players.
  10. How do you explain how pathetic and amateurish this squad is? Something is very, very wrong at the Club, from the owners, through the Sporting Director to the coaching Staff all the way to the Players. They are all not fit for purpose.
  11. I can’t wait to see some entertaining, spirited play by a committed team of professionals. Waiting for the Wrexham game later on,”Come On You Dragons!”
  12. How pathetic can this gutless Norwich side get? Amateurs masquerading as a professional side.
  13. Why are this squad not even trying to compete? Complete embarrassment . No pride. No integrity. No effort. The worst side we have put on the pitch in years. Dire.
  14. How to describe this abject, useless, amateur no hopers? What a pathetic bunch of losers!
  15. There absolutely was a lack of urgency against Rotherham, apart from the first 15 minutes. It was a shocking display of apathy and lack of commitment or determination. Please do not attempt to praise that squad for not showing the will to win.
  16. Compare and contrast Norwich’s dire and lack lustre performances with the determination and commitment that you see in the Wrexham team playing Notts County.
  17. That was another awful performance! Most of our players desperately do not want to get promoted. And why should they? Most of them realise they would have no place in a Premiership side. Whatever the reason there was no commitment, little effort and no quality. And what was Idah doing on the pitch, he came on and promptly disappeared! Norwich looked exactly like a pub team who met up in the car park 10 minutes prior to kick off. Absolute garbage.
  18. Dean Smith is history. His ego will not accept that his own performance led to his own demise. So it had to be something else, it was the nasty supporters, it was the injuries, there was not enough money to bring in better players, the grass was the wrong shade of green. Anything to deflect responsibility for failure away from himself. However, we saw the turgid, boring , ineffectual style Dean Smith brought to the Club and can only feel sorry for the Leicester supporters if he gets that appointment.
  19. Capt Pants- I am not just focusing on Hanley , although as Captain he is Wagner’s (and the Club’s) representative on the pitch. I am sure that Wagner does not tell the team to drop their heads and seem unenthusiastic. No. Hanley should be leading, setting an example and encouraging the side; I see absolutely no evidence of this on the field. There are others in the squad who have the same characteristics and I agree with others that there needs to be a clear out of the players who are content to be in the Championship and an influx of players who want to prove themselves, are ambitious and who will give 100% to the challenge every game.
  20. There are many things that are fundamentally wrong with this squad, true. What those things are will vary with each supporters point of view. My own opinion is that the mindset of the players is completely out of whack. The core of senior players, the old lags, have become complacent and this poor attitude permeates down through the junior players to infect the whole squad. The prime example is Hanley. He is the one player that should set the tone , who should provide leadership, who should be inspirational to the others. And yet Hanley looks to be the most tired, jaded and bereft of ideas player that we have . From consistently passing square or backward , to knocking in goals for the opposition, to just shrugging his shoulders and accepting the losing mentality of the squad. He needs to be moved on rather than being considered as undroppable and a permanent fixture on the team sheet. He has imbued this squad with the acceptance of mediocrity . He is not fit for purpose. He was not good enough last season and has been appalling this season. He needs to be moved on.
  21. It is a plan to bore the opposition into a stupor and hope to score when they have all passed out.
  22. 20/20 hindsight is a wonderful thing if you wish to sit on your sofa and heap blame on the characters actually responsible for the disaster that was our last relegation season from the Premiership. The thing to do would be to learn lessons, put the deficiencies right and go again. Sadly, no lessons appear to have been learnt and the weaknesses in the squad have not been addressed. Most of the Norwich squad obviously do not want promotion (witness the dire Sunderland game and the throwing away of a win at Huddersfield) because they realise that they would have no place in a Premiership team as they are just not good enough. Why commit to a promotion effort when all that promotion will do is suffocate your own career? Better to stay in the Championship and continue to get selected. I expect a similar lack of commitment against Stoke today with perhaps Hanley stepping up and knocking another goal in for the opposition and then continue to pass the ball square or back , inspirational leader that he is.
  23. Unfortunately it is obvious that some players in the squad absolutely do NOT want promotion. They feel that their own best interests lay in extending their first team presence by remaining in the Championship. They know that if NCFC get promotion then there is no way that they will be included in any Premiership side. They are simply not good enough. So why would they try for promotion and limit their own careers? After the pathetic showing against Sunderland at home and then throwing the game away against Huddersfield it is difficult not to draw the conclusion that some members of the squad just cannot be bothered. For instance , Huddersfield had not scored in nearly 8 hours of play until Hanley stepped up and knocked one in for them and then continued to pass square or backwards at every opportunity, inspirational!
  24. There has been one constant in the consistent failings of Norwich City ; it wasn’t Farke, it wasn’t Dean Smith , it isn’t Wagner …… Grant Hanley!
