  1. Fair enough maybe that's why you have never thought of following them. I have only ever met two people from Hemel Hempstead one girl at university and another girl I sometimes work with. Both support Watford though.
  2. Yes but other parts of Hertfordshire are actually closer or as close to big London Clubs. The Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium is probably closer to Herford than Vicarage Road. Aylesbury not sure if that is Hertfordshire is probably closer to Stamford Bridge for example. http://www.myfootygrounds.co.uk/LeagueMap.asp?League=PREM
  3. Each to their own but to be honest I would rather we didn't have Delia in charge. We can only go so far under the current structure and I believe she holds us back from progressing. The self funded model just allows Delia to keep hold of something she can't actually afford.
  4. Well, Watford is basically North West London and is on the tube line and has Arsenal and Spurs in close proximity.
  5. I love the positivity but form changes throughout the season. Burnley and Watford may get better with key players back from Afcon Burnley also have four games in hand on ua. Brentford are quite a bit ahead of us and have just signed Erikson. We can stay up but let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet.
  6. Possibly but I imagine all of those signings will improve them as they are all good players.
  7. Eventually they will just meet the release clauses of players.
  8. Newcastle winning this is a terrible result for us. I fully expect them to stay up they have too much money not to. Let us hope their record of dropping points from winning positions continues. But honestly I think if they are in a point or two away from 17th at the end of the transfer window the they will probably survive relatively comfortable.
  9. I think its mostly a bit of a myth that they booted us off the park at the start of the season. In my opinion they out footballed us at the start of the season. Anyway City can't afford to lose because Watford will go four points clear with two games in hand, Burnley and Crystal Palace at home.
  10. Yes. I think they done their business for their first team early in the window and addressed areas they needed improvement in. They are likely now bringing in players for profit, this is is how Watford always do business it is no secret. It was supposed to say ****hot (well for a seventeen year old).
  11. Hardly any of their signings will be for their first team though they sign players all of the time simply to scout and sell players on for profit after loaning them out. One of the signings mentioned above is a 17 year old South American who in fairness is supposed to be class but I doubt he is coming to go straight into their first team.
  12. It's not like they are the only club doing it, it's part of football nowadays.
  13. They sold Granada. Only one of these signings are from Udinese to be fair. Its actually quite common and part of modern football. Man City, New York and Melbourne. LRB Leipzig > Red Bull Salzburg, New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Brasil. Monaco and Brugge and Ajaxs owners so have different clubs and there will be more. Watford and Udinese are separate so slightly different. I am not sure why they shouldn't be allowed?
  14. Watford sign players with the intention of selling them on and they may never even go to London to Watfords training ground, they just get loaned out across Europe. The year we were relegated with them I read that they made approximately 60 million in tranfer fees from players who they had scouted and loaned straight out. Including 20 million for a forward and 20 million for a defender. The young lad Asprilla is supposed to be a bit of a wonder kid 17 years old and has already been capped by Columbia.
  15. In fairness though Watford are massively understrength with players at AFCON and injuries.
  16. Covid only impacts first team players up there obviously πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  17. If Burnley play a strong team they should be fined heavily. Burnley are such a ****ty little club that I wouldn't put it passed them being made to field a team and having pretty much a first team anyway.
  18. It would have helped us more if Watford had to play 3 matches in a week though, especially when you take into consideration the amount of players they have out injured or at Afcon.
  19. The Premier League have severely messed up here as teams are just playing it to their advantage. I honestly think teams should be made to play with under 23 players. Would have been good for Norwich City if Watford had to pay Saturday, Tuesday and us on Friday night 😐. Although if Burnley are significantly weakened Watford would potentially beat them and go 4 points ahead with a game in hand.
  20. To be honest the bottom three will probably struggle to get 30 points this season on current form and Brentford are already on 23 points.
  21. I reckon 34 will probably be enough but I don't think we will get that many and I would be surprised if we get above 30. I know we won yesterday and I am buzzing with that but Everton are a mess and had won one game in thirteen and their manager was the brink of being sacked. Additionally we had not scored until yesterday since the Newcastle game in November, And we have scored 10 goals all season. I am not expecting us to magically be good all of a sudden.
