1. I can''t believe it is £30, OK it is a new ground but it isn''t that impressive and they are hardly Man United! I think this sort of pricing will make many fans think twice about going. I went to Derby last year and got stuck for about 5 hours on the train home, I only live in Loughborough (20 mins away), so could do without a repeat of that and the 1-0 loss, and a dire one at that.
 2. Yes, I don''t think argue with that, that would possible make some half times more entertaining that the other 90 mins! I can just picture the lovely Norfolk ladies in their skimpy yellow hotpants with a matching green boobtubes. Back to work for me, must remove these rather pleasant images and immediately. Let''s make this happen!
 3. Not particularly bothered by the band, I think anyway of trying to improve the atmosphere is good for the game. What I want to see are cheerleaders at the interval, sexy ladies in ultra tight and impossibly skimpy hotpants prancing around in the freezing cold / driving rain. I think we have tried this at a few games but normally it''s a handful of "talented" ladies and a few rhythm free tubbies in tight pants, actually come to think of it that is worth watching too!
 4. Look at every squad, they will have "average" signings too. How many teams can buy only world class players"?
 5.
2 wins and a couple of ''good'' performances - great!! - you sure they are that good, or is it just in comparison to the rubbish last year? there are some very fickle people on here.. out with the fool
wow, what an inspiarion you are! are you going to be saying that after 10 more games? or is there are there a point when you might actually say "great, we are playing well and picking up points" ? And of course if we get promtoted it won''t be anything to do with the "fool" as you call him, remember the "fool" who got us promoted a couple of years ago.    No i am not fickle, I have supported the team through thick and thin. Just because you appear to want the managers head on a chopping block does not make you exempt from being called fickle. Stop living in the past.
 6. Must confess to being a West Ham fan as a kid, strange logic but it was do with me winning a 50p bet off my aunt after the West Ham vs Arsenal FA cup final in 1980, that was big money back then! well it was for an 9 year old. I was living in Norwich at the time although from Hampshire. I continued to support the Hammers but did watched some Norwich games. It wasn''t until I left Norwich a few years later that I realised that I had more than a soft spot for them and have supported them ever since. I think sometimes you do not want to support the team where you live, you want to be different, so once I left Norwich and moved to Yorkshire it became more unique to cheer on the city. I am now a fan for life and continue to support them whereever I live, currently loughborough. I have also converted my girlfriend (who is French - not her fault) to support then, this was quite a challenge and took over 10 years but now she is a "proper fan", she even understand the offside rule!
 7. What would people like you do if you had nothing to moan about? Our football looks good, we''ve made a good start but you still need to be negative. I think selling Green makes good sense, it sounds like a reasonable sum for a keeper who has been a little out of sorts. I think most clubs buy and sell players, it doesn''t mean panic stations quite yet does it?   Is giving the current team / management some credit a little too much to ask from you?   "Worthy in"
 8. I am getting bored with people moaning about the manager, now these players are the same ones (apart from Croft) who failed to live up to our expectations last year, yes the same players! Now Tactics are one thing, implementing them is another. Why is it always the fault of the manager? Now if we do OK it will be down to all possible circumstances other than our manager of course. Stop moaning and just support the blo*dy team.
 9.
Editor , Chris and Northern - thank you so much for your insight , I never knew that people outside Norwich supported the club - what an eye opener.. In any case , I will still ask - where does this figure come from ? Take the population of Norwich , 200k , then take out the following - All those not intersted in football , those who support other clubs , exiles from other cities and students etc , other nationals. That probably leaves us with 50-60k Norwich ''supporters'' in the city. You can probably double it once you take into account North Suffolk and Norfolk. That still leaves about 300k to find scattered across the country , ''exiles'' as you call them. I find it hard to believe that other clubs from cities with far higher populations do not have as many ''supporters'' as we do - Hull,Nottingham,Bristol,Coventry,Sheffield to name a few off the top of my head even allowing for the fact that some have more than 1 team per city. I hope you understand my point better now.
Areas like coventry / nottingham / Sheffield have other teams to chose from, i.e. Notts County, Derby, leiceseter all in the region and for Coventry there are many other midlands clubs, same for Sheffield, two Sheffields, Rotherham, barnsley etc. the same cannot be applied to Norwich, unless you count Diss Town!
 10.

Chelski is becoming a joke. Do they need Michael Ballack? Ballacks do they! They have just strolled consecutive premier league titles so the answer is an emphatic NO. He will shift shirts and increase revenue, but do they need it? NO again. I cannot see any way he will make a 20m difference to Chavski. Ballack has moved for money so they both get what they deserve...its a match made in Chelski heavan orchestrated by misery guts himself and the mercenary Kenyon. What a lovely club you have Mr Abramovich. Despite all the ups and downs, give me Norwich any day!
You don''t get the point though do you? The whole point is that you have to be successful all the time - if not what is the point of watching football? Any loyal fan knows that you win or boo. To put up with your side not winning is foolish. You have to turn things around by being really objectionable so that the board resigns and a billionaire takes charge and everything is perfect again. Worthy out!
I think that is about the dumbest thing i have ever heard! football is about more than just winning, it is about the taking part. If you only enjoy winning you shouldn''t bother watching football. Without losing the winning part would not be so much fun. I have had many intersting and enjoyable experiences watching football when we have lost, won or drawn. Of course I enjoy winning too. How dull to be a Chealse fan, if you lose you just buy more of the worlds top players, thats so skillful.
 11.

2 Points Wolves had 10 men for 10 minutes, some of you are making it sound like they had 10 for the whole game I have been a worthy outer since Christmas so dont say i''m just a worthy lover but, they are in a no win situation. They get moaned at by me included when they win and play shit, but then someone says (cant remember who) that a defeats a defeat even if we played well. So people who think like that should also be saying a wins a win, not moaning again. I will be happy as long as we play well, because i know that if you play well 75% of the time you will get what you deserve and so will finish higher in the league.
I was happier witgh the performance, altthough it was a long way from promotion material.  Our defense gave away 2 goals therer defense gave away one ludirous one.  More plaudits may have been given if Worthy had kept his gob shut, instead of having a go at fans.  I really think he wants to be sacked, it would certainly explain his bloody awful management this season.
I would not say that Worthy was having a go at our fans, maybe a go at the people who i would not really describe as fans, the sort of people who boo players and managers just because they are a little disgruntled not reallising that this is not really productive. I don''t call the people that try to bully proper fans into turning against the team , manager and directors as fans!
 12.
four good players away from a good side???  We don''t have a defense that can defend a corner.  Our midfioeld is shocking and our strikeforce is short. Mickey Adams Coventry, he has spent nil money by the way, finished above us.
you have nothing positive to say ever, even when there is room to be optomistic you come out with this. Didn''t Mickey Admas get sacked from leicester? there will always be cases where teams on less resources do well, this is the nature of football. And then there are teams that spend tens of millions and are mediocre, it is not an exact science is it? If it was that simple we would care for it would we? Now stop finding futile arguments for how much better we should be and start showing support and being positive. My glass is half full!I guess yours is half empty of maybe half full of cyanide.
 13. I am almost feeling sorry for you. Why don''t you just stop watching football then? you seem to have inherent dislike for the football players / managers etc Why bother?
 14.
Are we losing yet?
No we won, care to comment?   I guess being such a fan you are really happy we won.
 15.

Also, go back a few years and remember how many managers we got through, how many made a difference? so until i start hearing the names of managers who we have a feasible chance of obtaining I will not accomodate the idea of sacking the one who got us promoted and to the play offs a few years ago.
Remember Bruce Rioch got us 9th with a very poor squad.... Here is a list of candidates, I have marked my favorites with a [:D] Locally doing good jobs: Mike Newell [:D] Steve Tilson [:D] Phil Parkinson [:D] And others off the top of my head: Tony Mowbray [:D] Glenn Hoddle Alex McGleish Ian Holloway Martin Allen Bobby Robson John Gregory Dennis Wise Mark Bowen [:D] Dave Williams And those we could try and tempt away from their current club: Mickey Adams [:D] Dave Jones [:D] Or if their chairman do stupid things George Burley [:D] Joe Royle Steve Bruce I am sure other posters can add to the list of potential candidates.  But as you can see off the top of my head I have listed a fair few candidates.  Most of the above are available and would jump at the chance to manage the excellent squad, board and supported canaries.  We still have a fair transfer budget to offer a new manager and some fantastic players in the squad (Hucks, Earnshaw, Greeno, Safri and the like).
Well I don''t agree with you on many of the above names, and any that are potentially good would be hard to temp away fro their present jobs anyway.  You can Keep Steve Bruce. What did Mickey Adams do at leicester? Mark Bowen, has not done the job before, Denis Wise, no thanks, John Greogry, good habit of being sacked, Dave Jones (maybe good for the youth team!), Hoddle, Robson - probably passed it. OK maybe people like Mike Newel but why would he come here? Not so straight forward really, it''s not fantasy football is it? i''d like Mourinho, if not we''ll take Wenger or Fergie, you didn''t mention Hiddink either!!!!!!!
what has worthy ever done to make him any better than the above managers??  turned a blackpool side on the verge of the play-offs into a team relegated the following season and got norwich promoted, but has taken us backwards ever since and has failed to spend the mopney wisely as the squad has not improved.  Why is that any better than many of the other managers listed - his average points gained is worse than almost all of his peers!! Why would Mike Newell come here??  well we have 25,000 fans, players like Hucks Erny Safri and co, and a transfer budget.  Also he has refrained from signing a contract at Luton so is obviously looking at the options that may appear. Mickey Adams has been successful at every club he has been at!! anyway here are a few managers percentage of available points obtained then worked out to a points total in a 46 game season. Alan Pardew 0.5468 = 75.46 points Paul Jewell 0.5155 = 71.14 points George Burley  0.5124 = 70.71 points Neil Warnock 0.4959 =  68.43 points - no premiership seasons Mickey Adams 0.4933 = 68.07 points Iain Dowie 0.4924 = 67.95 points Mick Mccarthy 0.4908 = 67.73 points Dave Jones 0.4895 = 67.55 points Joe Royle 0.4865 = 67.14 points Gary Megson 0.4617 = 63.71 points Nigel Worthington 0.4577 = 63.16 points The above managers can be considered Worthy''s peers. I have added a few ex managers and potential managers. Obviously they have all had either much more premiership experience or none at all which will affect their ratings accordingly.  Many are also one club men and lower divisions only.  Look where Delia''s dream ticket candidate ended up...... Martin O''Neil 0.6347 = 87.59 Martin Allen 0.5556 = 76.67 Steve Tilson 0.5556 = 76.67 Adrian Boothroyd 0.5533 = 76.36 Mike Newell 0.5443 = 75.11 Kevin Blackwell 0.5217 = 72.00 Steve Cotterill 0.5142 = 70.96 Phil Parkinson 0.5133 = 70.84 Sam Allardyce 0.5021 = 69.29 Bruce Rioch 0.4954 = 68.37 Alan Curbishly 0.4767 = 65.78 Billy Davies 0.4741 = 65.43 John Deehan 0.4603 = 63.52 Steve Bruce 0.4586 = 63.29 Mike Walker 0.4566 = 63.01 Brian Hamilton 0.4366 = 60.25
I think you''ll find lots of good championship managers will be hankering for a job in the premiership or at bigger Championship clubs. Don''t get me wrong, Norwich are not a small club but they simply don''t have the lure that some clubs do. In you list of managers I notice lots have been sacked in the past, does that mean they are good or bad? To me it is just the managerial merry go round, in other words they may not be any better than what we have got. I am not saying I am totally adversed to the idea of a new manager but I am against the idea of change for the sake of change, we have seen in the past that this policy does not always work. So how much bigger than Luton are we? the only reason mike newel would come here is if we offered more money, not because we are a sleeping giant. OK we do get good crowds but so do Sheffield Wednesday and how many top managers are clambering over themselves for that job. I do agree some of the managers you list sound potentially good, like say Martin Allen, but he is still young and inexperienced.
 16. I''ve heard that if you don''t agree with the worthy outers your posts get removed or you just get total abuse, now I would hardly say that behaviour like that is going to work in your favour. You can''t expect everybody to like having your opinions rammed down their throats if you can''t be bothered to listen to the opposition.
 17.
Marty a correction Delia is the major shareholder, Mumby is chairman.  But as a Worthy Inner your lack of knowledge refarding the club is understandable.  Footy knowledge not your strong point eh!
Oh so sorry pete, other things on my mind like the job I am paid to do everyday, a minor error on my part. I am fully aware of the position she fills and my comment regarding her knowledge about football is still valid. Are are you going to tell me all the chairmen, shareholders etc are football people? I thought a lot of them where buisiness people? don''t get me wrong I am sure many do know a fair amount about football, but not all of them. I would'';t hold that against them like you lot. Now I find your tone rather patronising, maybe some of you Worthy outers can accpet that the abuse, sarcasm and general unpleasantness works both ways.
 18. I think MikeWalker carries some excess bagage with him, he is not whiter than white. As for Delia having no footy knowledge, she''s the bloody chairman, she doesn''t need footy knowledge!

 20.

I think there is more than enough abuse coming from the "fans" who want Worthy to be sacked, don''t make out I am the one slinging the mud here. I will not change my opinion based on the arguments I have read and digested so far. I will make my own opinion and I think it''s about time you lot respected us and stopped trying to bully us into changing our minds. If you are lucky enough to meet me at the ground I will catagorically demonstrate my support for our current manager, no that doesn''t mean chanting "worthy in", but I am a little more strong minded that maybe some of the people you have met. People are not always as confrontational as some of the people who want Worthy out, in other words they feel pressured into not voicing there true opions, stop ramming you opinions down everybody''s throats.   Stop trying to voice the opinion of ca. 25000 fans.
Marty, you are perfectly entitile to you view and i respect that. in a rubber necking type of way can you explain why you want worthy to stay please
Well I don''t really have time to do that now but the jist of my logic is that a f ew years ago we were mid table or lower and we didn''t see such abuse towards players and managers as we do now. The attitudes have changed, maybe people have got greedy. Well, like all managers at some stage in time, ours is going through a bad spell, or should i say not so good spell. It is not just down to him, some of the players have under performed too. I guess you could question some of his signing but it isn''t and easy job, football is not and exact sceince is it? Also, go back a few years and remember how many managers we got through, how many made a difference? so until i start hearing the names of managers who we have a feasible chance of obtaining I will not accomodate the idea of sacking the one who got us promoted and to the play offs a few years ago. I am not naturally a patient person but when it comes to football you need to be patient.  Also, can anybody explain the logic of booing one of our players? What has he done on a personal level to deserve that abuse?
 21.
Pathetic and embarrassing attack on good people who devote their time and money to keeping out club in the fine position it is in today. Remember where we were 5 years go??? You are an attention seeking fool Wiz who just posts extreme views so that your ego is massaged when you see headlines on the pink un like" Even some posters on message boards are calling for Delia''s head" I think you mistake me for someone who actually cares what you think Morty. Every post I''ve written you have rubbished it, that tells me you can''t be constructive other then to to call me a attention seeking fool and other childish names. Name calling is the first sign of losing an arguement.
that''s because you post some dross!

 23. You make out that you are such a quiet and respectful bunch that want our manager sacked, and that anyone who dares to voice their opposition is out of order. I think you fail to realise that the people who still support our current (and previously successful) manager have been called a few less than pleasant thing also. I don''t really like being called apathetic because I fail to boo my team, manager and players. I, personally think that some of the vitriolic behaviour I have witnessed from the Worthy our brigade is moronic and disgusting, so if i used the term morons I don''t oppologise. I think the abuse between so called fans works both ways so get off your soap box will you. Some of the nastiness directed to some of our players like Hughes is appaling, no matter what how you rate the player you cannot question his effort, to boo him on a regular basis is vile, and if you expect me to support that behaviour you''ve got another thing comming, get some more respect. I agree with a couple of posts here and think they have put their poinst accross very well.
 24.
the silent majority all round me in the Barclay were all nodding in agrement with the Worthy Out chants.  Not everyone naturally wants to stand up and sing pro or against, but many agree that we need a new manager.
That is clearly wrong, I guess it is wishfull thinking on your part.
 25. As soon as things don''t go as well as you''d hoped you need to stick the knife into the people who have put their time, money and effort into our past success.
