I dont normally take to booing. but after the WBA and wolves games, i did boo, because the players were bloody pathetic and i wasted £25 to watch us have 1 shot at goal (which went out for a throw in!!) at wolves, and a gutless passionless performance at WBA. I was at Stoke on sat and we lost, but we showed, passion, commitment, and desire and thus the team were applauded from the pitch by all of our support without a boo to be heard. I think you will also find that since GR has taken charge, the boos have been non-existant and i feel that if anyone is attention seeking it is you, creating a post and an argument based on events from over a month ago. Right, we lost 2-1.We played well, and showed a lot of spirit. The football we played in the first half was fantastic....It was like watching the promotion season again! Our fans were good, great atmosphere although it did get a bit quiet towards end of first half! And there was a good number of us, i don''t know how many exactly but there felt like maybe 1200?! Stoke fans are Scum. I got called a "W****R" twice on my way to the train station - once by a grown bloke with a little kid (about 7 or 8) with him and once by a 13/14 year old girl, just because i was wearing my Norwich shirt. In the ground their fans were silent til they scored the winner. ("We only hate hate Stoke, Wolves and Ipswich"???)  Our boys outsung them all game, not much of a challenge but even when they scored the winner. There were a couple of choruses of "Glenn Roeder''s green and yella army", and i even heard "walking in a Roeder wonderland"!! Everyone appears united behind GR and i personally think he is the right man at the right time and hopefully its onwards and upwards! We played well and looked very good going forward - i was expecting to lose but was more concerned about the manner in which we did so. Stoke are a huge physical team - lots of poor tackles and they were lucky not to have one or two sent off! mainly for second bookables rather than awful tackles. Defensively we always looked fallible and we were clueless when defending set-pieces. In fairness it was a very entertaining game, and although we ripped them apart first half, we could easily have conceded 4 or 5 but for some great defending from Shacks especially, and Marshall being in fantastic form.On the balance of chances i think Stoke deserved to win it and could have had about 3 penalties - one from Docherty''s handball being the most blatant, how that was given i will never know!!! but we did not shame ourselves at all - Players were committed and really had a good go at Stoke, they gave it 100% and you can''t ask more than that. The most pleasing aspect of the game was the passing football and movement off the ball. It genuinely is a different team to the one i saw a month or so ago at West Brom - they look revitalised and it was good to see Hucks performing to his abilities again! On the basis of recent performances and the faith, confidence and belief Roeder is instilling in players, fans and the club in general - i can honestly say i can''t see us going down - we would have beaten many teams performing like we did yesterday. WELCOME BACK PASSING FOOTBALL!!   Marshall - Four World Class saves, I had been losing faith but he redeemed himself - he was excellent - 9 Doc - Passing was poor and gave away a load of free kicks for pulling shirts on edge of box - that said, it was his ball Dublin flicked on for the goal and he came in with some magnificent blocks and last ditch tackles - 6 Taylor - Fairly average, looked solid enough - 6 Shacks - Good game, lots of vital tackles and interceptions mixed with some very clever defending - 7 Camara - Awful defensively for the most part - was at fault for the first goal - and his distribution wasnt wonderful either - one of our poorer players of the game - 5 Hucks - Excellent - looked back to his best and took his goal well, he was a real threat all game - 8 Pattison - We looked worse when he went off, good passes and clever through balls - 7 Rusty - Didnt really look at the races today, not much was falling for him - worked hard as always and got some good tackles in and broke up a fair few stoke moves - 6 Fozzy - Didnt really do it today - passing was good but he wasnt quick enough in releasing the ball. - 6 Croft - Our poorest player on the day - looked threatening going forward but let balls drop in our half about  seven times, either over his head or was caught waiting for it to come to him whilst Stoke players nicked it... that kept putting us under pressure defensively - 4 Dublin - Probably our best player along with Marshall - clever flicks, won alot in the air, worked well with Hucks and held it up well, always getting others involved in the game and was always sniffing about and giving defenders something to think about - Although, he was at fault for their second goal - 9

Was just wondering, why on weds i was told by lady in ticket office, that i couldnt reserve ticket for stoke and pick it up at Stoke, and that she could not post it as it was too late.(I live in mids) my mate rings up at 3pm today and gets his ticket reserved for collection at Stoke.Annoying as that was, it isnt my point. Ticket Office told my mate that there are around 200seats left for away end. Im thinking of arriving at abouit 1:30pm, do you think i should be guaranteed a ticket by arriving so early?  (by that i mean do you think i''ll def get one, not do you think i deserve it for arriving early!! lol)

This allowed the Soviets to advance and take the Poland. It was mainly the success of the American led operation cobra at the D-day  landings which allowed the Americans to fan out into a broad front and sweep through Europe whilst the Soviets came from the East, dividing Hitler''s forces and freeing Poland from Hitler''s forces. (Only for them to be taken over by the Soviets!). Yes before it comes back at me, i am fully aware that the British were a major part of the D-day landings, and that is fully appreciated. The point I am making is that it was mainly the Americans wgho advanced through France and Belgium and into Germany.

His Newc contract is up in the summer....so a nominal fee i guess, i think he''d come here over other champ clubs regardless of position because he clearly has a lot of respect for Roeder and gets on well with him, but what happens if he keeps playing like he did on Sat and Prem clubs come sniffing?

From a Polish stance, it is a good group, NI are very much beatable, the ones we should be worried about are the Czechs, bit of a local derby going on there. Should be an interesting campaign. Maybe you can exact some revenge on the Croatians!! You appear to have a relatively easy group - Kazakhstan were in our group for Euro quali''s and are truly shocking away from home but it is a difficult place to visit - we stuggled and beat them 1-0 away and i''m fairly sure Portugal did the same. At home we were 1-0 down with 60 on the clock, but came back to beat them 3-1. Ukraine are weak at the moment and whilst i wouldnt have fancied drawing them 3 or 4 years ago, they are in decline at the moment with Shevchenko losing form and growing older. I am fully aware of my country''s history - my point was England didnt "save us" in the war.....The Russians and Americans did.I fully appreciate we weren''t the reason either country joined the war....but that doesn''t change the fact it was the advancing Russians that sent the Nazi''s packing from Poland.I also have the utmost respect for the British forces, past and present, and you''re right, maybe my post didn''t make it clear enough, but trust me, the whole Polish nation appreciates that you went to war for us and are grateful for the efforts of the British forces!!As for my "beloved" Russians.....I do not tar this generation with their predeccessor''s brushes. The USSR put us through absolute horrors, and if you ever visit Poland, I would advise a trip to the Gdansk shipyard museum to see the place where the fall of communism started. If it wasn''t for the bravery of Lech Walesa and the other dockers, we would have been subjected to god knows how many more years of it.
