1. Were you at the game yesterday?!?! If it were not for the Ref''s abysmal performance we WOULD have won by several goals...hence the complaints. His repeated failure to use the advantage rule, denying us a stonewall penalty, the fact that if he had any control on the game at all - MK would have had ten men for most of the game... None of this was a factor in us not winning then? Obviously not. Im just one of the thousands ''looking for something to complain about''....or maybe the ref was absolutely f**king useless and needs to be complained about as he cost us the game....
 2. Im pretty sure the worst ever debut (not for City though) must have been Jonathan Woodgate for Real Madrid... As far as I remember it, he got two own goals and a red card that day!!!! Thats pretty much as bad as it gets surely....unless of course your name happens to be Michael Theoklitis!!!
 3.
Goals just been on Sky, couple of neat finishes from Oli (especially the bullet header second).
Yeah, I just caught that too, the second was absolutely superb, great run to the near post to lose his marker and bullet header. good stuff. e i, e i, e i o..... [Y]
 4.
how about any radio streaming??
no-one ever streams radio norfolk, lost cause mate. CW is the only way if your outside norfolk.

Surely i cant be the only sad git who had ssn no around 10.30 this morning? ...It wasnt a quick comment either as i missed first part as i had eyes on lap top and tv muted, saw delia sitting down at agm meeting and grabbed remote and caught rest..now checked other inferior message boards and give up! ..so aint and cant watch anymore as work calls so now have to wait till local news later!
You clearly made it up, just for attention like.[;)]
Hahaha naughty Morty, blimey that rhymes
Or indeed blimey that''s rhymey :p
 6.
If I was Jamie I would not leave either this is his last big payday and he has a family so take it whilst he can. We all would do the same if we were in his boots. from 8k a week to maybe 1k-2 after.
His missus is stunning too!
 7.
mike milligan - everybody''s best materusty is very dumb,i cant help but slip into a coma when listening to doherty talk...
Im not certain on this but I seem to remember Rusty being incredibly articulate and well spoken - dumb seems a bit odd?
 8.
.......Nah, nothing like him.
brilliant mello, made me giggle [Y]
 9. Im almost certain it would be Flecky. absolute legend with a gret sense of humour.
 10. Oh yeah and I got hit in the head with a coin at Molineux when I was about 7 - when they had the home fans in a tier above the away support - morons.
 11. The only footy violence I have ever seen in my 20 years following the city was at Coventry a few years ago. After the game, one Coventry fan just walked up to another Cov fan and punched him in the face and then ran off. I think generally with footy these days if you arent looking for trouble you won''t find it. I have however had verbal abuse - after Stoke away walking back to the train station a guy in a Stoke shirt - walking TOWARDS the ground called me a c**t in front of his kid who cant have been older than 5, and literally 2minutes later a girl of around 14/15 called me a "farmer w**ker" and sprinted into a shop....neither of them had been to the game. Pathetic.
 12.

we have our best crowds, when there is a very small away following [;)]
You''ll find at Elland road, there are very rarely any empty away seats [8-)] Guess we''re just easily accessible?
Certainly a lot easier than norwich, and closer to most teams i hasten to add.
 13.
A goal scoring full back. Excellent.
Bit soon for that I think! Would be fantastic if he contributes half as much to the club as Bowen did. Rose''s career stats point to an average of about 3 a season (seemingly free kicks usually) - around 20 goals in 300 odd apps = around a goal every 15games.
 14.

We scarcely deserved anything from this, let alone a win.I know this won''t be met with a round of applause, and with 3 wins in row since his appointment i certainly can see why it won''t, but as far as the details are concerned i''m far from confident with Doc holding the armband. If i''m honest it''s about as belated i''ve felt after a win so far this season, while of course staying confident as far as the current campaign is concerned.
Its obviously not a permanent fixture though - only while Holt is out.
figured that was a no brainer ? obviously not though !Its a hard choice though if not Doc... who else ?Personally I''d have taken Rusty or Laps.... but that said.... im not Paul Lambert and Lambo obviously knows what hes up to !!Delighted Cody got a goal as predicted !Just doesnt put a foot wrong that lad !! Cult hero right there !!
So did I but the context of the original post i quoted made it sound like Doc had been permanently given the armband. Im not sure who I would have given captaincy to if not Docs, Rusty is the only viable option that springs to mind. Cody is brilliant for us and has popped up with some important goals, cerainly one of my heroes!

 16. I think everything to be said, has been said on here, so this is just me saying i hope you have a fantastic day, enjoy it mate, Norwich is a great city and you certainly wont find trouble unless you go looking for it. The people as a whole are amongst the friendliest in the country in my opinion.Anyways, have a good one and safe journey. [Y]
 17.
Achieved my dream of playing at FCR.NOw struggling with playing and afternoons at FCR.....Im 27. Keep playing or not?? Oooo decisions!
Keep playing mate, limited timespan on footballing career, lifetime of watching the mighty yellows!
 18.
All I have to contribute is that, if Gunn had done more to keep Lupoli, and started him every game, we probably wuldnt be in this league in my opinion. Watching City against Coventry opening day of the season was amazing, despite losing, we played like Brazil, Lupoli and Hooly had an instant understanding and were backheeling it to each other and all sorts!
Obviously last season, not this one.

 20. Wiggins has joined Bournemouth on a month''s loan, their transfer embargo was lifted temporarily and they were allowed by FA to sign one player, and its Rhoys on loan.Source: http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/4878970.Cherries_exclusive__Wiggins_back_on_loan/Only a local paper but have quotes from manager etc, reliable 100% in my opinion.
 21. Slight rethink on that after seeing highlights, Doc''s great header off the line ups his rating, and oli''s lob was off the 6 yard box, not the line.
 22. I apologise for the lateness of this, but I have been at home, therefore enjoying time with my family, but have returned to uni now, so thought i would post my thoughts about last night, for what they''re worth.Firstly, as many of you know, I am not currently going as much as I would like, as am not living in the city and finances and uni workload dictate that I cant make it often, so am instead left to forlornly listen to canariesworld every match day.Pre-game last night, I had a sneaky suspicion we would get beat, as I have always been a victim of sod''s law and I knew it would be a tight game with Walsall being negative and not trying to break us down. I think I was vindicated in my pre-game assessment of Walsall''s tactics as that is exactly what they did, put 10 behind the ball and kept it tight, holding on for a draw right from the outset, and then even more so once they had scored. The game was not a classic by any stretch of the imagination, and it was a poor pitch and negative tactics from the home team that seemed to have conspired to bring the Lambert victory wagon to a screeching halt with a shock defeat. The first half was poor fare with both teams struggling to break the other down, or create anything incisive at all in the final third. Oli had a delightful lob cleared off the line but that''s as close as I remember us going. An arbitrary affair with neither team really creating, and very few chances at either end, the Oli lob and Walsall goal aside.Their goal was a defensive mix-up and I honestly couldnt tell you with any certainty, who was at fault without seeing the replay; but my initial reaction was Forster was to blame and I thought he should have stayed on his line. Apart from the goal, Walsall rarely threatened to score, but when they did, Forster was superb.Second half was much improved from City and we huffed and puffed without creating anything gilt edged, an industrious performance and we went close a couple of times but nothing clear cut. A shot from Russell from the edge of the area forced Clayton Ince into a fine save, Korey possibly should have done better with a header from around 8 or 9 yards out, a passage of play with several yellow shirts failing to shoot when given the opportunity ended in Hughes blazing an awful shot over just after HT. The introduction of Cody and Macnamee was the catalyst for our victory, with both turning in fine performances, Cody was especially good, and the goal was a sublime sidefoot volley. Martin''s goal was an error from their keeper who fumbled the corner and Martin finished with aplomb, the boy needs no second chances from that range. With regards to player ratings:Forster - 8 - Possibly at fault for goal but made several fine saves to keep Walsall out.R. Martin - 6 - Probably a little harsh but I felt he was a bit of a liability and let Walsall in down the right several times. Good covering on a few occasions though kept them at bay when they threatened to break through.Doc - 7 - Solid enough performance, nothing notable either wayNelson - 8 - I''m not his biggest fan generally, but he was very good and solid as a rock.Drury - N/A - Did not look comfortable when he went off at all.Lappin - 7 - Decent enough, did well at LB and was tidy when he had possessionRusty - 5 - Probably our worst player on the night, was absent in midfield and was out of position constantly.Korey - 6.5 - Didn''t do too much and struggled against their LBHooly - 1st half - 5 - absolutely anonymous, and when he did get it, lost it.Hooly - 2nd half - 8 - Oozed quality, and terrorised the Walsall defence. A marked improvement on first half. Was very, very good.Oli - 7 - Industrious, and tenacious, but very raw and was bullied by their CBs. Was not helped by their godawful pitch, a couple of times tried clever touches which bobbled off their cabbage patch pitch.Super Chrissy - 8 - Very assured in possession and confidence was pouring out of him. Got the goal by being right place, right time, worked hard, decent shift, glad we have signed him up.SUBS:Hughes - 5 - Was probably as bad as Rusty, absolutely anonymous, and struggled to impact the game at all.Cody - 9 - Wasnt on for long but was brilliant, gave us an outlet, and took pressure off our defence, worked hard, and fully deserved his goal which was lovely (wonderful assist from Hooly to pick him out to be fair). Looked alot more polished and complete than Oli. Very impressive - should be starting on Sat on that performance.Macnamee - 8 - Took some time to settle in, don''t think he touched the ball for about 8mins! When he did he was a joy to watch, stepovers, running at defenders, quality crosses, very exciting player. Almost reminded me of a previous City number 6 (Dare I say it!)THE REF - 1 - Worst I have seen for a long time. Had an absolute shocker, no control of game and gave nothing for either team (prob a few more for them to be fair), constantly let blatant fouls slide, let bookings go unbooked and players got no admonishment for timewasting (as several walsall players did constantly). Appalling, I hope he never refs another NCFC game.THE FANS - 9 - Top class following, singing all the while, chants at the stadium announcer were hilarious, and many more, havent been part of an atmosphere like that since we went up to Prem. Was brilliant. When we scored the 2nd the chant of "we are top of the league" sent shivers down my spine, especially knowing Leeds were losing (courtesy of the "The leeds are losing 3-0" chant!)Stadium announcer - 2 - Thats being generous, got Leeds score wrong, then argued with the fans who chanted "you dont know what you''re doing" then blamed the computer and proceeded to stutter every other score out. Very poor showing, should be dropped for next game in my opinion.OVERALL:A draw probably would have been a fair result, but if either team should have taken the 3 points it was us. We had to work and grind it out, but we had the edge in quality and it showed in the end. The players went as mental as the fans when our second went in, was a pleasure to see how much it means to them.
