1. Ha, ha , that was certainly different Pete, very good. So if, (oops sorry , when) , we win this week you will have to do the same for the next few matches, could be a good luck routine.
2. In the desperate hope that I get at least one winner before this season ends I going for :- France league 1 : PSG v Le Havre : 16:00 : Sunday : Home win. It''s the only one I could spell, ha ha . Good luck Norfolk !
3. Perhaps Ipswich wouldn''t want to see us relegated, (or even promoted), Why ? Because they would lose their only hope of a decent attendance at least once a season ! ha ha !
4. Head says 0-0 , typical local derby ! Heart says we will thrash em, or as some famous forward once said, "We''ll give em a spanking !"
5. Looks can be deceptive, I can assure you they were thugs, long hair or not, and quite capable of causing much damage to property or people.
6. That was the bad old days of football I''m afraid, Their "fans" favourite trick in those days was to stampede en masse along the roads bowling over anyone in their path. It got to the point that we used to leave a quarter of hour before the end to avoid getting caught up with them.
7. . . . . well according to a certain Mr Lisbie that is :- http://www.greenun24.co.uk/content/greenun/sport/football/championship/ipswich-town/story.aspx?brand=ESTOnline&category=SportITFC&tBrand=ESTOnline&tCategory=xDefault&itemid=IPED13%20Apr%202009%2019%3A36%3A59%3A910 I hope it has the same effect on them as it does when our local press sticks a mike in front of  our boys before a match !
8.
Not true. If Barnsley won the game in hand 3-0 then all others by one more than us - they would go up with goal diff. But in fairness if it does come down to goal diff we really should be safe. Plenty of tiwsts and turns to go IMO. Still not positive but let us see.
If City win their remaining games their GD would be at worst -5, Forest are currently -18 so they would have to not only win but win by a margin of 13 goals in three games without reply.
9. Keep winning and it don''t matter what the other clubs do !
10.
. . . .  IF City beat Watford and IF Sheff Utd beat Notts Forest and IF Swansea beat Barnsley then we will be Fifth from bottom. Then we will all be happy (or less sad anyway) bunnies for another week, fingers crossed folks.
I love it when a plan comes together! (Well near enough) ha ha were happy bunnies !
11. Watford : 3 points, (for no other reason than we have got to win it ! ) Ipswich  : 1 point at least, (they seem to be dispirited at the moment) Reading  : 3 points, ( should have consolidated play-off place by then, hopefully will possibly save their best players for that) Charlton : 1 point, (lets hope it isn''t a prequill to next seasons Div 1 fixture) 8 points making our total 51, might be enough ? ? ? ?
12. . . . .  IF City beat Watford and IF Sheff Utd beat Notts Forest and IF Swansea beat Barnsley then we will be Fifth from bottom. Then we will all be happy (or less sad anyway) bunnies for another week, fingers crossed folks.
13. Well we are not dying of boredom that''s for sure !
14. Oh dear ! Yet another part of our yesteryears vanishes, so very sad, so very sobering.  Puts our other little troubles into perspective, doesn''t it ? R.I.P. Jimmy
15.
Greetings all, for my pick this week, it''s very simple. My second team Posh just don''t know how to lose these days, and will be looking to nick the top spot from Lesta. Cheltenham are down, so looks like a good ''un. So...... Peterborough United vs Cheltenham Town - home win Good luck everyone!
They played this afternoon, it was 1-1 !
16. Even though they are not getting the results they want Southampton are putting in good performances, they certainly haven''t thrown in the towel yet. I wouldn''t be at all surprised to see them sneak yet another draw today, at least.
17.
Printing error, should have read ....''Empty Purse''.....
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . or even . . . . . .   . .  ''Barren  Purse'' ! ! !
18. OK blah x 3, I am able to tell you that I am doing so badly at the moment that it is advisable to eliminate any of my picks from your consideration as they are sure to go the opposite way to what I say. This will trim down your possibility of failure. Ha ha !  so my tip for the week is a nailed on certainty home banker :- Spanish Liga BBVA : Sevilla v Getafe, 18:00 Sunday Dare you possibly pick this one ? Good luck mate !
19.

utter tosh loyalty comes at a price and he lined his pockets to the tune of 8k a week
Where did you get that figure from hugo? He was signed by Peter Grant in the same window that he signed Curo who is on £5k per week so I can''t see Lappin on more!
Wher do these figures come from ?  Reliable sources maybe ?
20. Whilst being one of those who voiced my wish for Lappin to be reinstated, I think he will do his cause much better if he "played" himself into a new contract , I don''t think Gunny will appreciate his tactics of  touting himself through the local press.. But good luck to him, I think he will do well for us.
21.
I still think it could be Barnsley.
Could well be right Astro, but they put up a hell of a fight tonight and were unlucky to come away with nothing, just shows though that games in hand aint so good as points in the table.
22.
Updated table, Barnsley''s games in hand are slipping away 20 Barnsley 40 -12 45 21 Norwich 41 -9 43 22 Nottm Forest 41 -19 42 23 Southampton 41 -17 41 24 Charlton 40 -23 32
So the ball is in our court again, we just need to equal or better each Forest or Southampton result !
