1.

have they given a time scale on this ..??
No timescale, the Football League are just hoping that Southampton get relegated and any decision they make will therefore be irrelevant!!!
Spot on, why did they name a date,(today), for this inquiry then wait for a week to realise  they needed more info ? They are simply waiting for circumstances to make the decision for them !
 2.
the problem is not the recession it is the historical imbalances within the football league.  too much money at the top too much money being spent on players / wages (over 100% of income in some cases) this has never been sustainable it is just that now the economic tide has gone out and you can see who has been swimming without any trunks on.
Absolutely spot on Spud,  I like your analogy, (swimming without trunks on), lots of blushing to come when the finacial tide goes out methinks !
 3.
Oh dear ! The main consensus of opinion is that we will win, now I am worried, that''s when we usually fail to turn up. Ah well, fingers crossed we do not run true to form then.
Hmmmm ! Now in future you must all expect us to lose, OK ?

 5.
.......Six ''pointers''......
Ha ha Mellow, showing such dogged determination to bring laughter to us all !
 6.

I thought they said yesterday that no-one from the Championship would be entitld to vote for that reason.  Though the people they listed who would vote were mainly from League One, who to my mind presumably have a vested interest in the penalty being imposed next season, since Southampton might be in their division then.
You''re right, I''ve just found this. With the Championship members of the Football League Board being obliged to refrain from voting on one of their own, the decision on Southampton''s fate will therefore rest with four people - Lorraine Rogers of Tranmere Rovers, Tony Kleanthous of Barnet, Peter Powell of Colchester and the Board''s independent director, Ian Ritchie.
Could these possibly be the same or similair group that so capably sorted out the Tevez/Man.Utd issue last season ?
 7.
i`m listening to 606 and finding this bloke really annoying, he`s a crap commentator and a crap phone in host, neil adams is a bloody legend compared to this idiot...
Spot on pennywise, He starts moaning from the moment he picks up the mike, and he gets all the "important" matches unfortunately.
 8.
Our points have to be won first. Take a leaf from Gunny and take nothing for granted. I agree with CITD''s predictions for the crunch games.
Which is probably why I put "if/when"
 9. Quite a difficult week this week, but then I can''t even get it right on easy weeks lately , ha ha ! As I should have expected Barnet let me down last week so undaunted I am going to stick to my method and go for yet another bogey team to hasten my plunge down the Picker''s League ! Blue Square Premier : Barrow v Woking : Home Win Good Luck Chops !
 10. . . . . eight of the bottom ten Championship clubs are involved in "six pointers" this weekend :- Barnsley       v    Notts Forest Blackpool     v     Plymouth Southampton v   Charlton Doncaster      v  Watford If/when City beat Sheff.Weds and these matches result in draws ( as many six pointers do) then we will gain two points on all our closest rivals. Quite a plausible turn of events I think. OTBC
 11. Food for thought ! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1166258/Southampton-playing-administration-card.html
 12. Yes indeed Wiz, Good luck to my seaside neighbours, I will try and get to see them in the second leg if I can find somewhere to park !
 13. Good luck for this week Inchy, I am going for a long shot this week, my bogey team no less. League two ; Saturday : Barnet v Darlington : Home win Barnet always do the unexpected, (much to my cost, ha ha), and at odds of about 6/4 the bookies certainly don''t see them winning this week. But they are conquering all at Underhill and Darlington are no great shakes playing away so my pocket money this week is riding on the "Bees" to buzz in with the honey ! OTBC
 14.
Archie was the man who, under the astute Chairnanship of Arthur South OTBC
"I think you need to go for a little paddle in the North Sea, Bly. Even better if there''s a brisk north-easterly blowing. Brrrrrrrrr...........!! That should set you right ! "
 15.
Extended Highlights on ITV''s the Championship today
Great stuff, I''m glad they picked one of our better performances to show.
 16. Well done Gunny and Co,  A great point, I thought it would have been a good idea to bring on a fresh pair of legs in the final minutes when Mooney was tiring, but Gunny got everything else spot on with team selection and tactics.
 17. Nearly every week something happens to show what a moron our previous manager was/is. He wouldn''t even give Lappin the time of day ley alone a game. Good on yer Simon !
 18. . . . . being entombed in the relegation area of the table. It''s teeth gnashing, nerve wracking, nail biting, very worrying, stressful and downright unwelcome ! BUT it aint arf exciting, I can''t wait for the next match to get here so I can go through all those emotions over yet  again. How boring mid-table oscurity must be , YAWN !
 19. Good luck this week DDD, Last week Swansea and Palace performed contrary to their Home/Away form  to muck up my pick.(the  Warnock Conspiracy) However Bournemouth did me a good turn midweek and made me a nice profit. I am very hopeful that they will get me back into winning ways in the PUPs league this week by beating a not too impressive Notts County. (The Bourne Conspiracy) League 2 : Saturday : Bournemouth v Notts County : Home Win
 20.
Yeah, let''s adopt a ''Ploy named Sue''..... That''ll certainly bring in some much needed ''Cash''....
Ha ha, back to your best form Mello. . . . .
 21. Gunny''s statement  :- ". . .this is now an opportunity for one of a number of players who have been waiting for their chance on the sidelines. . ." Looks like a step up for Lappin ? Don''t move Gow, if it works don''t fix it, he has done so well where he is.
 22. Yes indeed, I like the way he continually says "we" when talking about City, shows he is still one of us.
