1. How many of the Delia apologists work in the PR department at Carrow Road?
2. How far down does she want to drag this club?
3. We have the loan players, it seems, because we can''t afford to pay for more than the "big man" if he comes Iweloumo (sp?) cost Wolves £400K from Charlton. Proven partnership with Cureton. So presumably we can''t afford that either.
4. having seen all 3 games this season I would agree with the view that it is the forwatds that is the weakness. I also thoufght Pattison had a good game although not a right winger. Unless the cook is prepared to spend decent money on forwards we will struggle this season. Cureton is a disgrace. I don''t think he scuffed a shot when through one-on-one. I think he intended a pass to Lupoli so that he wouldn''t get a tongue-lashing from Roeder when he missed. Not to shoot when through like that is tantemount to cowardice in the face of the enemy. What a pity we can''t shoot him at dawn!!
5.

Listening to Bush threatening Russia on radio. Could we  now get doomcaster, the turners and my mum (who is poor) to crack open the "rainy day" money in the light that there might not be a next season. Can''t bankrupt the club if there is no bank and no club. It is rumoured that much like cockroaches Binners will continue to enhabit the scorched earth even after armegeddon but no intelligent life. Is this a new low in pesimism on this most pesimistic of MBs?
If armaggeddon hits Ipswich you wouldn''t really notice any difference.
Yes you would. The improvement would be immense!
6. Living in Warrington I hold out against Liverpool and Everton fans on a regular basis and the odd manure fan. As I tell them, they should try supporting a real football club. They still take pity on me though.
7. Our recent record at Barnsley is a great one, but I take your point.
8. Towards the end of last season, Neil ''Doomcaster'' Doncaster said he would explain to fans where all the money has gone as many of us had the mistaken belief that there was a wodge stuffed down the back of the City sofa. I don''t recall ever seeing his explaination so have I missed it or is this another example of the BS that routinely eminates from the Carrow Road boardroom?
9. Yes it is a sorry state of affairs that Roeder has been unable to bring in the target man we so badly need given the amount of time we have known about this weakness in our lineup. The fact is that the board won''t or can''t put up the money to buy a proven performer in this position. personally I''ll be disappointed to see the scum sign Ameobi but not particularly bothered by it as he is an unproven product and £2.5m + add-ons and high wages is a lot in such circumstances. However it''s not just about strikers. We need many more goals than we get from our midfield players. An area where the scum have consistently out performed us over the years is the ability of their midfielders to score on a regular basis. Hopefully when bell is fit he and Hooly will provide more goal power as should Fozzy and the Clingon. I don''t see any signing up front before the window closes so to use Doomcaster''s famous line, ''We go with what we''ve got.''
10.
my autie had testicles she''d be my uncle...
And wouldn''t have been your auntie in the first place!
11. I''ll see your 33 years and raise it to 37. University of Cambridge Examinations Syndicate (now part of OCR).
12. After all she did say the club should never be owned by one person. It''s OK for it to be owned by 2 though!!
13. Since when has it been compulsory to sing in order to support the team. It''s rather like buying a ticket and then almost having to apologise for wanting to sit down to watch the game because the people in front of you want to stand up for 90 minutes.
14.
How did you know? [:O]
because when I think of people who''d make up lies about their neighbours to seek favour with totalitarian states you come to mind.
15. Wow, what a shock. Allowed to post on a public forum. You work for the Chinese State Security by any chance?
16. Don''t you find the restaurants entertaining then? Surely you don''t visit Chez Ddelia for the football?
17. If he had the money to do so he''d have done so. So....go away!
18. the team really struggle this season and Roedergot the sack that would mean yet another management set-up has been turned over. Is it likely the management team after management team are hopeless failures or could the one constant in all this, the board actually be the problem? I don''t think that they are consciously trying to ruin the club yet their mind set is so focussed on off-field activities they have long lost sight of the fact theat we are a football club and that is what the fans pay their money for - football of the entetaining type. If the manager of the day isn''t appropriately supported he''s screwed. To use a F1 analogy, it doesn''t matter how good the driver is if his car isn''t competitive he''s going to finish with the also-rans. Hopefully GR''s sides won''t fail this season and we''ll have a comfortable mid-table finish.
19. Munby told me tuesday evening outside the stadium:mk that the target man they were after was the ''right one''. He won''t have a wow factor to his name so I don''t expect it to be a premiership player. Rosenberg appear to be saying no to Iversen moving and I don''t see Howard or Rasiak moving here. Beckford is scoring goals so will be out of our price range. That leaves players like Lee from the scum, Kuqi if he''s still available and Bishop as the type of player we might get. On the otherhand it is much more likely that we''ll sign noone but that there will be a nice new set of cutlery in the restaurants.
20. we''re out of a cup aptly nicknamed "the mickey mouse cup", personally i couldn''t care less, Are you a binner, Polar? That''s the sort of rubbish they routinely spout as we have won it (twice) and they haven''t. It''s one of the 3 major domestic trophies FFS. Did spurs and Chelsea look as if they couldn''t be arsed in the final last season?
21. Yes, we had most of the possession but let''s not kid ourselves - we were dire. We looked fragile at the back. OK so we have learned that Omozusi is no CB and Drury is clearly short of match fitness. However otsemebor was very disapponting to say the least. Midfield was generally OK but Croft, when he came on, offered nothing. Never have I seen a player who so consistently spot an empty space and pass to it. he doesn''t have the pace to get pass players and he has absolutely no end product. Worrying here is that Chadwick isn''t getting a game which suggests Roeder rates him even less than Croft. I just hope Mr bell provides the answers here. Up front Lupoi desperately needs a target man to play off. Koroma is a big, pacey lad with b*gger all experiece and is going to take a large part of the season to get up to speed for this division. Still good news for Pompey as we are picking up all the costs for giving him the experience that will benefit his club when he returns. Cureton, OMG what a panic buy he was. He just waits for things to happen so unless the defender falls over or goes walk-about he contributes zilch. It got so bad last night that we were passing sideways and back for a sustained period in the second half with noone willing to take a chance and shhot at goal. The fans were mocking it by going Ole with each pass as most of us had given up hope by this stage that we were going to see a positive approach on the MK goal. I don''t expect anyone new in by Saurday or even before the window closes to be honest. Those of you who have this idea of us challenging for a play-off place obviously don''t watch the team too often.
22. I had a few words with Roger Munby before last night''s game and he said that the striker would be not only a recognised one but the right one. When I asked if this ''name'' had a fans wow factor he was much less effusive. Who''s available for £100K and a meal for 2 at Delia''s?
