1.

i would like to see ince here, hungry young manager with a point to prove. still got connections. its all point less anyway, we will win tomorrow and the job will be gunnys, to the board cheap is the best.
All of which he had at Blackburn PLUS a kitty and still failed. Sorry mate , can`t see your logic here.[:D]
to be fair they did not give him a lot of time, i still think he might be the best thats on offer
I actually felt a bit sorry for him at Blackburn, because he didn''t really have that much money to spend, lost some of his best players and seemed to be on a hiding to nothing from the start.  Must look at MK Dons now and wonder if he should have given it another year - all hindsight I guess.
2. Blackburn apart, his track record is good.  What worries me is that he spent only one season at Macclesfield and MK Dons before moving to bigger things - in short, 3 clubs in just 3 seasons.  I accept we''re likely to be a stepping stone for him, but something inside me thinks Ince would jump ship very quickly if he was doing well. Personally, I don''t think he''ll come here anyway.
3. I know its sooooo predictable, but its actually Darren Huckerby.   Partly cause I''ve always liked flair players - i''d been a big Dale Gordon fan in the late 80''s/early 90''s too.  In that promotion season, Hucks was a tour de force - I can''t remember before or since when a single individual took the team by the scruff of the neck with suck brilliance and enthusiasm in the way he did. I''ll throw in Kevin Drinkell, Ian Culverhouse, Robert Fleck, Malky Mackay, Steen Nedergaard and Gary Holt as contenders.
4. Thanks Mick.  Because of that article, people will read it and put ALL Norwich supporters in a bad light.
5. The whole thing has been bizarre.  If it turns out not to be true, you have to wonder how it got to the point that the whole media reported it and the IFA had it posted on their website.  Someone is playing games here.  City?  Worthy?  The IFA?  A prankster? Think the reaction has given the board their answer anyway!   Lets try and move on from it now.
6. God, let''s hope so!  Believe it all when it see it though. Am off to work now, but will be keeping a close eye out in the next hour.
7.
When it flashed up on your screen, Do you want to watch Bangkok Chick-boys?, you must have pressed the button that said ''yes''.   Yeah, well, as I say, it''s very confusing.    Do you want me to come up and show you the button that says no?   No. Yes. I mean, yes, I want you to come up and show me the button that says no.    Oh, and I''ll show you that mirror thing.    No. [To Sophie] Look, do you want me to settle this bill?   Er, no. I mean, yes! You''re right, it is confusing, isn''t it?    [Sternly] Yes.
Lol!  Can''t beat a bit of Partridge, especially on a crappy week like this.  [:D]
8. There''s been no leadership of this club for years.  Apart from the AGM''s and the occasional roadshow, the communication and direction shown by this club has been absolutely hopeless.   Nobody seems in control and I can''t believe so many people still defend them to the hilt. The really sad thing is that in the current economic climate, we''re probably stuck with them indefinitely. [:(]
9. I''m absolutely gobsmacked by this.  If there''s any consolation though, it has gone to show what a complete bunch of fools the board really are.  There was too much praise for them after Roeder was sacked.  I''m not sorry he was fired, but I''m more angry that he was appointed in the first place when so many people from everywhere he''d managed had nothing good to say about him.  Was there any research into his background and his hopeless failures at every club he''d been to?  Also, if you fire someone, at least have a decent backup plan, although considering they were scratching their heads for ideas at the AGM suggests that such a feat is beyond them.  It all smacks of panic and cluelessness. And we''re stuck with them, whoever comes in as boss.  God help the future of this club. [:(]
10. Good post! [Y] (Indeed, John Bond was certainly a touch flash, but he commanded respect among the old guard and the kids from the reserves.)
11. Have to remember though that Bell is not 100% fit.  I always questioned why Roeder bought an expensive player who was already injured at his previous club, not ready to play until October, and then needs an op in the summer.  It really shows now. Agree though that he hasn''t been very good lately and needs a rest to get some fitness back.  Lappin may well get a chance now.
12. Wow!  That''s an incredibly scathing article.  I always got the impression Lakey never had much time for him but even so, that''s really let the cat out of the bag and confirmed what many of us suspected. Makes me more angry with the board for employing him in the first place, considering we heard all the same stories coming from the other clubs he had worked at. [:@]
13.
He is actually the captain of the reserves, even though we don''t have a reserve team.[^o)]
Really?  I didn''t know that. Suppose its for another thread, but have our reserves actually played any more football since we pulled out of the league?  Keep hearing about the odd ''behind closed doors'' game, but I honestly wonder if the likes of Lappin and Eagle - regardless of their abilities - have actually had any more matches than last season?
14.
I wouldnt say 14 goals was a poor return for a mediocre team last season?
Okay, fair enough (although 5 of his goals were against Barnet and Colchester), but I don''t think he''s the answer long term.  I admit we do need him right now as cover, but we still need another body come the end of Jan.
15.
Has anyone seen face of Robert Eagle this season? The so-called ''not ready yet'' youth squad were making the bench ahead of him?! Any chance of him making a return (to those that have seen reserve games, how has he done in these?)
Think he''s disappeared into a black hole along with the rest of the reserve team!
16.
he''s a nice guy actually... my dad has worked with him at sky and say''s he''s alright... he''s normlly very favourable to us lot...
He''s never come across as a bad person and has given Norwich a decent profile in the media.  I just can''t read his stuff anymore because it is so one-sided (Archant isn''t great either, but there is at least a little bit of balance).  Shame cause I used to like his and Waggers stuff.
17. Not bad at left-midfield.  Looked awful at left-back more often than not.  An okay squad player who gets the odd goal, but not someone I would necessarily have in my first eleven. Roeder''s treatment of him was bizarre in the extreme though.  Hope we find out one day what really happened.
18. It does make sense recalling him because we have so little firepower up front.  Roeder was insane to let him go without having someone lined up (Cort doesn''t count because his fitness was never going to allow him to start straight away). Saying that, Curo is not the long-term answer.  He''s been poor under both Grant and Roeder and I don''t think is up to it, regardless of the failings of those respective managers.  I think some people make way too many excuses for Jamie when other players get slaughtered for being just as poor.
19.  A reluctant no.  I loved the guy and was one of my favourite ever players, but I''ve a bad feeling it wouldn''t work. I would seriously like to be proved wrong though - it would be bloody fantastic if he did pull it off. [:D]
20.
I don''t want Tilson for manager, who would run NCISA in his absence [:)]
Wouldn''t get many high fives on the bench either!
21.
The deal fell down on his personal wage and bonus demands, sadly.
He''s angling for the biggest deal he can get, and Reading can''t do much about it.  I don''t really buy all the stuff about him saying he wants to stay at the Madjeski.  Likewise, did he ever really make noises about wanting to stay at Carrow Road? Anyway, its done now.  Thanks for the goals and points Leroy.  Time to move on.
22. I was keen on us getting him here around the time Grant signed, but I think he''s slipped a bit since then, as have Southend.  Not sure he''ll bring much to the party now.
23. Can''t blame Reading for accepting that, considering he''s out of contract in the summer.  I don''t think the promotion rivalry will matter either, cause Sheff Utd won''t come close to Reading for the rest of the season. Leroy''s looking after No 1.  The ball''s in his court.
24.
Okay, the results have been awful, its been very frustrating lately, and last night was a bleak one.... But, Roeder should not have been sacked in my opinion. They should have changed his job title and brought in a head coach - with Roeder as director of football - his contacts and scouting abilities would have still been used (Evans, Grounds, Bates to name just a few younger, but quality players he''s picked out) but obviously his man management was letting him down. I honestly believe we will be worse without him at the club - despite what everyone thinks of him personally.
Looking at some of the Newcastle fans comments this evening, a few similar views came up.  They seemed to like Glenn in a youth development role but not as a manager. I think things had got so bad though, that a job title change would have been impossible in the circumstances.
