  1. I expect this signing will be announced in the next 24 hours. We''ve been heavily linked with him for a while and Blackburn, his parent club have now released him. You can''t get much better than a FREE third goalkeeper. Let''s hope he doesn''t bring his dad with him.
  2. Earlier this year Southampton, Everton and Swansea were looking at him. Described as more of an attacking midfielder/number ten role. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2970868/Southampton-look-beat-Swansea-Everton-signature-Cesena-s-attacking-midfielder-Gregoire-Defrel.html
  3. Hasn''t had the minutes? Every pre-season review I''ve read talks about Andreu - are you thinking of Lafferty?
  4. That is our left back and left midfield spaces filled. A shrewd signing to cover two positions. As a newly promoted team, this a clever use of money. Young - Talented - Versatile
  5. I was very impressed by what I saw of Andreu on Tuesday night... Very pacey with a great eye for a shot. He looks like the sort of player, fans are going to enjoy watching. Looks like he''s beefed up a bit too. Andreu and Redmond either side of Jerome/Grabban could be an exciting trio up top.
  6. Mustard reported the attendance as over 21,000 - which is a massive crowd for a Norwich City friendly, especially as it was shown on local TV* Yes it was massively delayed, but I quite enjoyed my late night viewing...
  7. Derby Canary is right - You could have brought a few houses in the time its taken to wrap up Brady.
  8. Afternoon, We''ve got the annual Fantasy Football league up and running at work... I''ve come on here to get your opinions on players that you think would be worth a place in my team? Which Norwich players do you think will be getting the goals, assists, clean sheets? Is Redmond worth putting in my team or will he disappoint? Any tips, Norwich or otherwise are much appreciated. I have my squad in place, just want to hear some other fans perspectives, see whether I''ve missed any obvious players or any potential surprise packages.
  9. It was a pre-season friendly. It was £10 a ticket. If you REALLY wanted to see the game, you would have gone! Yes, the live coverage didn''t work - but who cares? Do something else!
  10. Andre Wisdom is a decent, tidy player... He didn''t play well in the Pulis system and was subsequently left out of the team. He was a regular for the manager before. I am pleased we are getting him in. Talent!
  11. I don''t think its coincidence that Brady has not been unveiled yet. I think it will all be announced and showed off at the West Ham pre-season friendly. Kind of a Mustard TV exclusive perhaps.
  12. Hull appear to be willing to sell there main centre back for 8 million to West Brom. Have we missed a trick here? Could we have done a double-deal? Two ex-Man Utd youths for one lump sum? James Chester is a quality ball playing centre at a good age. Makes you wonder...
  13. Crystal palace play with a lot of pace on each winger and strength in the middle of the park. Based on this logic I would play Elliott Bennett at Right Back and maybe even Toffolo at Left Back. Both of these players are fast and good at tracking back in a hurry when need be. I can see why people are wetting themselves of EB at RB, but there really aren''t many better options. He is fast, he works hard and he actually has a good tackle in him. We are not signing many players, and will likely have to start the season with what we have got. I''m looking forward to the challenge.
  14. I''m not saying get rid of Redmond but the two Murphys on the wings either side of a front man like Jerome, could be potentially really exciting. I''d love the manager to have the ''balls'' to play the two of them in a pre-season game, I think their could be more to this ''twin'' malarky then us mere ''one-offs'' realise. Both are exciting attacking players and If they do have some sort of connection - I imagine it could be really profitable for city (in a goal-threat sense). I''d love to see Neil play with these twins. Even just because it would be funny to see the opposition try marking them...
  15. He''ll be in the England Squad by the end of the Season... Mark my words. Quality and clever player.
  16. You''ve bet on West Ham getting relegated? I don''t suppose they do refunds if you go back to the bookies before the season kicks off do they? Slaven Bilic is immense as a manager, and they have got some serious quality in the ranks. I''ll be surprised if they don''t finish top-half.
  17. I think Norwich fans have short memories and are seriously clinging to any transfer movement. Alonso is just another Garrido - which begs the question why we got rid of one to pay three and a half million for the other? I don''t know if you''re all getting confused with Liverpool''s Alonso, but this guy is another very average player. I''d rather seen Toffolo given a guy than ex-Bolton player''s Alonso. Very underwelming rumour...
  18. I like Dorrans. Mulumbu is an okay player - nothing fancy. I like the idea of Lambert. I don''t understand what Liverpool hoped he''d do from the bench? and in my opinion they are wasting him. At Southampton he was a great finisher, a great leader, a target man and a set piece taker. I''d happily give them £3 to £4 million for him for just the one season... That''s small change in the this financial climate and he could help us stay in the league. Same with Glenn Murray.
  19. They are still have weaker teams then us. We need some players in, but a lot of ''those'' signings are just numbers - we''re after quality not quantity. It''s only defence - where I think we desperately need an injection of talent.
  20. They''re after a mystery striker... He''s Dutch. Do I need to say anymore? In all seriousness though I''ve never known The Pink''un message board to be as quiet as this in the Summer window. On the plus side, approximately 3 weeks until the season starts!
  21. I wonder if Chris Hughton wants a new Retail Manager at Brighton? Like someone said on Twitter - I couldn''t have designed three kits any worst than those three.
  22. This Steve Balmer-Walters is clearing either thinks he''s very funny or was born and raised in Suffolk. Seriously how is it up to one clearly blind man to pick our new kits? The home kit is crap, the away kit is the best of the bunch and that''s not even worth my money - but this third kit really is something else. Get this waste of space head of retail out of our club. He''s making us look the laughing stock of the Premier League. Let''s get a petition going!
  23. It''s a shame Ricky wasn''t modelling this awful shirt with the headline ''No one''s afraid of the big bad wolf''. The shirt would be alright if the logo ''went'' with the rest of the shirt. If it had been a new sponsor on the front, I could kind of understood but that looks like its been copy and pasted on the front. Awful Third Kit - 3/10 Away Kit - 6/10 Home Kit 4/10 Sack the people who chose these designs - awful!
