  1. No ... if we hadn't had the Sargent, Barnes, Sainz and Rowe injuries we would've finished comfortably above them.
  2. No. It's not 'congratulations'. Fair play. They earned it .. but it I wish it hadn't happened.
  3. Extremely pleased with this. I seem to recall that virtually all the pundits (including our own local media) predicted mid table ... as did the majority of our supporters on social media. I hoped for playoffs and I'm thrilled that we got there. Come what may from here. We're better than WBA but not so sure about Leeds & Soton! Roll the dice!
  4. Bye bye Blues ... second club in the second city.
  5. Yeah, it would need an EIGHT goal swing not seven as we've scored a lot more goals than Hull. E.g even if Hull won 6-0 & we lost 1-0 we would trump them on 'goals scored'.
  6. TBF they have faced Stoke, Rotherham and Huddersfield ... and two of those were home fixtures. I think we'll have lazer focus and get the job done.
  7. Put 'W', 'D' and 'L' on a die twice and roll it ... it could literally tip either way. Would take the draw now.
  8. Absolute quality ... a poor man's Wes
  9. It stinks of entitlement ... a classic situation of a fan base that's tasted recent success and expects the good times to be forever rolling - we more than most should know that the Championship doesn't work like that. I never boo the manager because I always assume that they know FAR more than I do about the physical & mental state of the players that they work alongside every day and they're doing their very best to win. I may not want them to be running the show any more but I haven't ever booed ... they are part of MY club ... they're on MY side. Considering that most fans polled put us outside the playoffs before the season started I think we should be singing Wagner's praises to be fair. I fully agree with his comments about respect, trust and support.
  10. He also said we were the best side they've seen at Elland Road so ...
  11. He looks like an incredibly exciting prospect.
  12. Right, drop Kenny back between Ben & Shane and cling on for dear life!
  13. You would imagine that Knapper is itching to bring in a couple of new faces that he's had up his sleeves for months. Rather than numbers I'm more intrigued by what positions he'll prioritise. We are utterly threadbare in the CDM position but Wagner doesn't play with one. Personally, I would love to see a young but hungry & gifted striker loaned in to bring off the bench. Someone to play with no fear - like we had with Cody and Oli Johnson. Someone green and raw that we can all get behind.
  14. With Sargent back and a genius signing or two in January I wouldn't write us off but I think Watford, Boro and Coventry are in the same boat. Leicester Southampton ................................ Ipswich Leeds WBA ??? ................................
