Just a suggestion, but with Liverpool having other preferred options after Borini struggled last season, maybe we could pinch him either on loan or permenantly.

It could be just the start he needs. He''s an Italy international and could maybe put last year down as a learning curve.

Undoubtedly still lots of potential as still an under 21 (playing for Italy at the championships), he knows where the net is usually and maybe a target within reach, looking to kickstart his premiership career?

Liverpool paid £10.5 million for Roma, plus he was injured most of the season: at what kind of price would you realistically expect to get him? How would he fit into our current set of strikers? Why would Rodgers let him go, if he would not take up squad space?

Nothing to do with not being a preferred option and more to do with having spent a large time out with injury last season.

On top of that if Suarez goes I doubt they would let any of their attacking options go anywhere until a replacement is brought in. Especially with Sturridge injured and fighting to be fit for the start of the season too.

When Suarez leaves,  Liverpool will only have 2 strikers.  There''s no hope in hell they would let him go unless for a stupid amount of money.
