He could be rejecting it to engineer a move in the summer. Saying that, a good campaign might make Celtic up their contract offer come the summer - so rejecting it is a win-win for him really

Football clubs don''t care about a player''s ''CV'' lol they look at a player, see him player, combined with his record, and then judge whether or not he fits into their specific plans for the team.
