Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted April 23, 2012 They are the two clubs I would like to see join Reading in promotion to the Premiership. If it can''t be both of them, then I don''t mind if Blackpool make a return to the top flight. Please don''t let it be West Ham. They need a few more years in the lower leagues! Reggie Strayshun 0 Posted April 23, 2012 I''ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Saints . Like us, they''ve had their "economics of the madhouse" period, but they''ve come out of it, and I certainly would not be miffed if they emulated our back to back promotions. There is also the " Lambert" connection ! As for the play offs...well I agree with you; anyone but Wet Spam . Cardiff seem to be always the bridesmaid; never the bride, and in Malky , they have a guy I''ve got a lot of time for . And, as someone who was born and bred in Preston, you''ll forgive me for not wishing any luck on the tangerine Lashers.
dpit 1 Posted April 23, 2012 Living in Surrey - Southampton and Reading are both easily accessible away days for me. Wet Sham would add another.
Salopian 1 Posted April 23, 2012 Southampton have hit a bit of a trough, like us, but they have quality. I think that they will just about hang on but.... I think it would be a good thing for West Ham to spend a year or two "in the wilderness", so I would not be crestfallen if they missed promotion. Other than this, I have no strong feelings. Cantiaci Canary 610 Posted April 23, 2012 God not Cardiff (sorry Malky). Have you forgotten the arrogance and then sour grapes of last season?
Proper Charlie 0 Posted April 23, 2012 I have family in Portsmouth and obviously they are devastated after them getting relegated, the only thing that could possibly make it worse for them would be for Southampton to get promoted, so it''s not them for me i''m afraid, but then i don''t want west ham to come up either, boro and blackpool would suit me. Can''t see it happening though i have to say.

A very long shot, but I hope the other is Boro. If not then - Blackpool, Birmingham, Cardiff, West Ham - in that order.
havemyhowsonit 0 Posted April 23, 2012 It''s going to be Southampton and unfortunately Birmingham there normally good in the playoffs
marvin the martian 0 Posted April 23, 2012 Would that be the "big club" Birmingham ? Empty seats everywhere. Reading is a new ground for me so pleased about that, don''t like saints or hammers as they would be tough competition next season.

star_manic 0 Posted April 23, 2012 please not wet spam. just seen allardyce on sky moaning that they have had it harder than the other teams because they all try harder against his lot. boo hoo. if he was a decent manager, given they players and money they have, they would have sealed automatic promotion earlier. Bungay Canary 0 Posted April 23, 2012 West ham managed to stop the SCUM in the play offs twice top team
Darren Lamb 0 Posted April 23, 2012 As much as I''d rather Southampton than West Ham going up I wouldn''t mind seeing Southampton fail to go up as I feel it might take some of the shine of us doing back to back for the first time in years to the premiership, bit selfish I know! Bill 1,788 Posted April 23, 2012 Tonight has given next weekends fixtures a bit of an edge, with certain full houses at S''ton and the HammeroidsLooks to be certain for S''oton against doomed Coventry but who knows, and it''s always fun for things to go down to the wire................ remember 2-2 at home to Derby, with almost 4 minutes of added time already played

Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted April 24, 2012
God not Cardiff (sorry Malky). Have you forgotten the arrogance and then sour grapes of last season?
My reasons for wanting Cardiff to be promoted are twofold:1. Malky''s team, and he''s a good old boy2. It''s nice to see some fresh faces in the Premiership instead of the same same old.
Syteanric 1 Posted April 24, 2012 Malky deserves every success.... he has done well as a manager thus far...Lambert will leave one day and will need replacing... step forward Sir Malky!
