Jersey Canary 180 Posted April 9, 2012 His prediction for today was not only a Spurs win but (I can''t remember his exact phrase) but he said we would lose by several goals! What a c*ck!
Excited Canary 19 Posted April 9, 2012 Matt Murray @MattMurray20 Norwich fans have let me off lightly after I didn''t give their team a chance. Great performance. Excellent goals. Lambert''s a top manager

Can we please stop taking every single negative comment from a pundit so damn seriously. It was his opinion - An opinion that you would not have got huge odds for.Perhaps we should start posting every single positive comment about us, or every time we are tipped to win and go on to lose. Bill 1,788 Posted April 9, 2012 Well said Mr Trentwe are fast becoming everything we mocked (and disliked) about other fanshe made a reasoned prediction, based on how things stood before the gamesome of this zealotry and persecution mania is becoming a bit embarrassing......... and sets us up for a big fall when they do get it right
Herman 11,136 Posted April 9, 2012 City fans haven''t always been this over-sensitive,have we??
Trent Canary 0 Posted April 9, 2012
Well said Mr Trentwe are fast becoming everything we mocked (and disliked) about other fans
Exactly this. I was away all weekend - But catching up with the MOTD threads from saturday night made me seriously cringe - You would think we were West Ham or Leeds fans.Infact if I didnt know any better I would guess there were a bunch of our fans sat in the Gunn club with the lights off, wearing tin hats, waiting patiently for the next mildly negative comment to come through.Apologies for my frankness OP, this post is very much aimed at all the threads that have been whinging about the media, not just this one. Jersey Canary 180 Posted April 9, 2012 Fair play as he has seen the error of his ways.
spudgfsh 0 Posted April 9, 2012 He didn''t get away with it on SSN. The other panellists reminded him of his prediction of a considerable spurs win.TBH he had an opinion based on his knowledge of Spurs and his lack of knowledge about Norwich. It was his opinionHe was entitled to itHe was wrongnuff said.

Gingerpele 0 Posted April 9, 2012 How can you get upset at someone predicting Spurs to beat Norwich?Fans are very strange, we''ve had people on here getting upset when people suggest we should beat Wigan or Wolves with out too much trouble. And others who get upset when someone says were going to lose to a better team. All that matters, is we played brilliantly and won.
Downloads 35 Posted April 9, 2012 I hung around on the board today thinking it would be nice to see some positive chat re our team and how we turned over a top 6 team away from home. Lesson learnt!
Jersey Canary 180 Posted April 9, 2012 Who''s upset? I''m not. I would have been happy with a draw prior to the game.He had his opinion which I shared with you and I had mine. End of.There''s no right or wrong with opinions. I just pointed out his extreme viewpoint.
Branston Pickle 4,150 Posted April 9, 2012 Daft thing is that if you looked at the score prediction thread, plenty of our supporters were going for a spuds win, several went for 3-1 which fits the prediction mentioned above: why should a pundit be any different?! I''ve occasionally been miffed at the coverage we''ve had at times, as I''m sure we all have - but some of this ''the media is anti Norwich'' stuff is now bordering on paranoia and making us look like fools. Bryangunnshairline 0 Posted April 9, 2012 I don''t mind a pundit having a different opinion that is against us as long as they give a reason for it and back it up. But when a pundit like lawro says Holt will not go to the euros. But his answer is just no, no ,no that is so disrespectful to holty himself and us as a club. If he said Holt will not / should not because ... x y and z then that''s fine.
Branston Pickle 4,150 Posted April 9, 2012 Don''t disagree with that,, if pundits just slated us for no reason, but I''ve not seen anyone do that - what was actually said re: Holt and England was that he''d had a good season but no, he''d not be picked....again, that isn''t so different to what people on here have said.On Saturday I was more intrigued by the look of things, that lawro seemed to have been primed to mention Norwich fans having been ''moaning'', straight after Lineker having a dig.Still, the coverage on MOTD tonight couldn''t really have been any better in terms of bigging us, so presumably everyone will be happy! Bill 1,788 Posted April 9, 2012 " I don''t mind a pundit having a different opinion that is against us"that''s very generous of younow try asking City fans how many of them think Grant Holt will go to the Euros
Aggy 944 Posted April 9, 2012 I''ve always hated fans who think their club is bigger than it is, and now we''re moaning because a pundit has predicted that a side in the champions league places might beat us by a couple of goals? I assume by that reckoning you expect us to beat every team outside of the top two, and will be unhappy if we don''t thrash Liverpool and Arsenal in a couple of weeks? Glad to see a few more rational posters on here tonight than there were on Saturday though. Obviously we''re not all quite like Leeds and Forest fans just yet!
