ron obvious 1,711 Posted January 22, 2012 Link from WOTB (again):http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=50&fid=41&sty=2&act=1&mid=2115493694Seems an odd one. I seriously hope it isn''t true. I really, really rate Korey.
Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted January 22, 2012 I hope its just a loan, although he is nowhere the Premier League at the moment, he could still offer something in the future.
Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted January 22, 2012 Having done a quick browse of the net, it seems to be a loan.Good news, hopefully get some games under his belt at a decent level.
JayNCFC 14 Posted January 22, 2012 I am confident that this will be a loan. I would hate for it to be anything permanent but he could learn a lot from some time in a lower league.
ron obvious 1,711 Posted January 22, 2012 Yup, loan would be ideal. Saw ''to be confirmed as a Barnsley player'' & panicked!
norfolkbroadslim 225 Posted January 22, 2012 Must be a loan, Barnsley couldn''t afford the perm fee.
Harry 0 Posted January 22, 2012 I think PL sees some potential in Korey, he might not have appeared for the first team this season but up until his injury he was Captaining the Reserve Team, so I would imagine/hope it''s only a loan deal.
AJ 1,359 Posted January 22, 2012 Probably a loan to get his fitness up, I''d be surprised if it was til the end of the season, maybe just a couple of months. I reckon Korey will get some Prem football, especially if Prem survival if confirmed.
Row D Seat 7 0 Posted January 23, 2012 Heard a few rumours since last week. Anything concrete to this?
ron obvious 1,711 Posted January 25, 2012 A loan. Excellent. I did panic for nothing!

Aggy 944 Posted January 25, 2012 Good for everyone involved really. Korey gets some playing time to boost his fitness again (and to just get some more match experience under his belt), Barnsley get a decent player for a while, and we get one of our youth products coming back fitter and more experienced. GJP 79 Posted January 25, 2012 Good move really. I know it won''t be a popular opinion but I can''t see Korey being good enough for the Prem now or in the future. Hopefully this loan move will really take him on as a player but as it stands I don''t think he''s got enough to do the business at the level we''re now at. norfolkbroadslim 225 Posted January 25, 2012 I realise we''ve just shipped him out on loan, but will he ever be good enough for us in the Prem? Would he work in centre mid alongside bradders as an alternative to crofts or fox?
grantroederdisaster 0 Posted January 25, 2012 ["Aggy"]Good for everyone involved really. Good move for a move for a player I rate because of his tenacity and workrate and who is likely to become a useful 1st teamer in the future!
