First Wazzock 1,010 Posted April 3, 2011 I know Scunthorpe were poor, but what a stunning team performance. If not the best, it must be right up there with the best.
I am a Banana 0 Posted April 3, 2011 Leicester was very good, we passed the ball well and leicester are a much better team which needs to be taken into consideration.
Herman 11,136 Posted April 3, 2011 Yes in my opinion.Against Bristol we played brilliant football, but we really should have thrashed them.Yesterday we destroyed a poor team without resorting to any hoofing, hardly any missed passes, and personally,i think we took it relatively easy. [/quote]Yes it was one hell of a performance, but I think Leicester away was arguably better, mainly due to the opposition being far better quality.
Move Klose 303 Posted April 3, 2011 I think we could have gone up another couple of gears as well yesterday.
alysha 0 Posted April 3, 2011 I also we could have ended Nottingham Forest''s home record long before it came to an end; I thought we were outstanding that day, but just couldn''t get the second goal we deserved
Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted April 3, 2011 Leicester away, 3-2 really doesn''t portray our dominance away at 1 of the better sides in this division.
Panic 0 Posted April 3, 2011 I only saw the highlights on the Football League Show, but the passing at times looked world class. We shouldn''t knock ourselves down by saying it was a poor team, we have a habit of slipping up against these lower teams at home - particulary if the players get the jitters from the crowd. Winning these sorts of games, and winning them well, is what gets you promotion.
Jonzey 0 Posted April 4, 2011 I agree with the above, we took it relatively easy and did the simple things perfectly. So it was a great perfromance, but for me the 0-5 at Colchester was the best simply because it also involved revenge. That day we utterly destroyed them :)
CharlieFarlie 0 Posted April 4, 2011 think it was summed up by Ruddy’s tweet after the game, If I recall it was something like: “If you want to see total football, watch this game, I felt like I should have paid to be there”! I could not make it but watched the highlights on the Football league show, yes they were poor, but we looked awesome..
lincoln canary (& Golden Coppel) 0 Posted April 4, 2011 Surey Thrashing Ipswich 4-1 has been the best performane of the Lambert era?
Jonzey 0 Posted April 4, 2011 ''Surey Thrashing Ipswich 4-1 has been the best performane of the Lambert era?''Excellent call. Let''s be honest, there''s been so many over the past two seasons it''s hard to say. The 4-1 is certainly my favourite, but the 0-5 was the best.
