InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted January 11, 2011 Who''s going? Got my tickets this afternoon.Apparently Selhurst is a right sh** hole?
e10_yellow 0 Posted January 11, 2011 Yeah, got a couple yesterday. Would have gone if it was midweek but having it on a Saturday is even better. Not been before but have heard almost unanimous negative reviews of the place - one to get ticked off the list and never visit again I think. Only £15 for under 24s though (never seen that demographic used before but I applaud it) so good value at least!
Gingerpele 0 Posted January 11, 2011 Is their any reason, why the tickets aren''t online? I wouldn''t mind going, train wouldn''t cost as much (or be as far) to London....

A pathetic excuse I know, being in I.T., but that is what the ticket office told me last season.

Captain Holt 580 Posted January 11, 2011 Crap view, wooden seats, old ground, old stands, surrounded for knob head stewards and fans, and a bast ard to get out of! Enjoy :)

......and Smith must score. 1,600 Posted January 11, 2011 It really is a desperate place, Palace....The Arthur Wait Stand which houses both home and away fans is terrible. It has wooden seats, no leg room and I''d recommend that, other than to take away the pain to come, you don''t drink too much before going in as the crush in the loos is horrendous. Dear old Arthur must be squirming in his grave with embarrassment. Oh, and don''t touch the food either .......... luckily there is a Sainsbury''s behind one of the goals which may save having to buy a programme for something to eat as the food stalls outside might as well all have a sign on them saying '' Your Life In My Hands ''. WorryingNormally they charge £30 or £35 for the privilege of using the Arthur Wait but I believe it''s £25 this year which is still about a tenner too much. Last time we were there Palace were advertising vacant boxes at a '' bargain '' £300 + VAT for 10. We decided to try one out. It turned out to be in those double-stacked Portakabins behind the Sainsbury''s goal. To be fair at that price you can''t really complain but you certainly could if you''d paid the normal £1,000 +VAT.....Oh, and I nearly forgot to say that we never win there. All in all sounds a classy day out..... InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted January 11, 2011 I went to QPR away this season. Is sh**hurst better or worse than Loftus Road?
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted January 11, 2011 I bought a ticket to the original game, got up at silly o''clock on Boxing Day to travel to the game only for the weather to intervene, and thought that I might as well get a refund as it''ll obviously be a midweek fixture and having just started a new job, the chances of getting the time off would be pretty slim I would think. Obviously there was no way we wouldn''t get through in the FA Cup...You would think I would learn, wouldn''t you? Norwich and cup competitions don''t go together. Oh well, time to buy that ticket back.
