Tim Allman 1 Posted December 18, 2010 I have just spoken to the Ricoh Arena. It snowed last night roads not gritted and it took the lady in the box office 2 hours to do a 20 minute journey. It’s just started snowing there again. I’m based in NW London where the snow is getting worse, we have two kids in the car and it’s just not worth the risk for one game given that the forecast is to get worse and getting back to HA3 looks to be fraught with risk. Anyway, I asked about returns. It is Coventry City FC policy to refund tickets; for home fans this would be a credit against a future home game. For an away fan (such as myself) who are not on the CCFC database we have been advised to apply to NCFC. It is CCFC policy to refund tickets back to NCFC so I’m confident that we’ll see some of our money back in these circumstances. I know there is the NCFC policy for no refunds but I’m sure has been implemented to deter those that don’t bother to go as opposed to those that cannot and have a genuine reason for not going. Given that there will be many people who will not be able to get to the game my advice would be to wait for an announcement from NCFC as regards what will happen. Theres only one Ken Foggo 0 Posted December 18, 2010 In my opinion it is madness to force people to journey to matches in this kind of weather. I quite agree with you that it is not worth the risk. Under-pitch heating has a lot to answer for. It should only be used to get games played when there is frost, and not when there is heavy snow and dangerous driving conditions. Your money really should be refunded as you have a genuine reason for not going.

Captain Holt 582 Posted December 18, 2010 The clubs needs to do something about this and quickly. If you stick to your little charter rules etc you prove to all the loyal and dedicated fans that you don''t give a toss.
Rupethebear 0 Posted December 18, 2010 Considering the weather and the travel all non used tickets should be refunded, simple!
