Herman 11,178 Posted October 17, 2010 As it was my first away game for a long time i would just like to say a big well done to everyone that went.Great atmosphere, singing throughout and good banter.Cheers to QPR.Good stadium, not overly priced and the security were helpful, not overly officious and let us stand for the whole game. They also had a smoking area which was a bonus. Go Wash Your Mouth Out Son 0 Posted October 17, 2010 The security were OK apart from as I walked in one shouted ''he''s got a knife'' which caused be to be searched. I didn''t.
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted October 17, 2010 I am surprised nobody got crushed to death at half-time in the upper tier. There is absolutely no room in there whatsoever. Not helped by the stewards standing in the way for no good reason other than to block the way even more for everybody. Oh and I got beer spilt on me as well which left me with some explaining to do later on [;)]
Herman 11,178 Posted October 17, 2010 Spilt in an unfortunate area?Or just because it made you smell of a pub?
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted October 17, 2010 Oh it made me smell of a pub alright... well I am exaggerating a little but I could have done without it!
Rupethebear 0 Posted October 17, 2010 Decent stewards for a change and met a friendly bunch of QPR fans on the train home to Northampton, overall a good club and nice people!
Mello Yello 2,588 Posted October 17, 2010 There were some jolly articulate (and surprisingly intelligent) QPR fan chaps who were ''with lager shandy in hand'' stood outside the Springbok, who politely and cheerfully (but somewhat vociferously) bade us a heartfelt farewell and a safe transit homeward - as we passed and made our way to White City underground station....Quite touching..... Road to Nowhere 0 Posted October 17, 2010 Good stadium? Are you serious?Lucky we were allowed to stand for the game because sitting down was painful!

Bigfoot 0 Posted October 17, 2010 A good day was had by all except of course Hooly. My only slight irritation was the City fan behind me in the Lower tier who when excited shouted in a Dalek inspited way. His commentary on the phone to a friend not at the game was "challenging" and not of the usual Motty BBC standard though his enthusiasm could not be faulted. My retorts of "Exterminate" and "Where''s the Doctor" did not provoke a reply. Here is a little clip of what i had hoped to be fans celebrating a goal. Thats life.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUkt4NqT4Tk
grantroederdisaster 0 Posted October 17, 2010 Stewards wern''t over the top which was good and helps to prevent uncessary incidents! The QPR fans were good as well!

[:D]Well, someone had to say it.

Blofield Canary 12 Posted October 18, 2010 Talk about relaxed stewards.. There was a bloke in front of me necking carlsberg lager straight from the bottle during the second half. Not even trying to hide it and he was sat on the end of the row.
