Willmeister 35 Posted April 17, 2010 Aplogies if this has been posted, but though he was absolutely immense today, as was the whole defence.
Mister Chops 7 Posted April 17, 2010 I had him second only to Nelson as MoM, & Drury has to be a contender for player of the season along with Forster.
Willmeister 35 Posted April 17, 2010 While I don''t want to detract anything from any player out there sepcially Nelson and Forster, I don''t think drury missed a thing and his timing in the tackles was brilliant.
Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted April 17, 2010 Same old Drury, has he ever made a mistake? let alone had a bad game?
Clever Farke 65 Posted April 17, 2010 Between Forster and Drury, absolutely outstanding. The whole defence would not be beaten and the team ran themselves ragged. Very proud day.
Darren Lamb 0 Posted April 17, 2010 Timed every tackle perfectly, top player. City legend!
WeAreYellows49 0 Posted April 17, 2010 The whole team did really well today, The Admiral as he got the winning goal from a Lappin pass. Superb result!!!!
Anderz 0 Posted April 17, 2010 Defensively we were very good, but we were playing 5 fullbacks.

Canary Girl 0 Posted April 17, 2010 My brother and I have argued about this a lot but Drury has always been one of my favourite players.

Graham Paddons Beard 2,448 Posted April 17, 2010 All things considered he is going to be a close runner for the Barry Butler. Great that we have several proper contenders.

Great that we have several proper contenders.[/quote]No idea who to vote for this season: Defensively, Forster has been magnificent, Drury and the Doc superbly consistent throughout the season, and Korey Smith has done superbly and far exceeded expectations for his first season. And that''s not even including Chris Martin, who has carried the front line in difficult circumstances, and of course, Holt and Hoolahan, who have torn defences apart on a regular basis. Not a bad problem to have though!
