had a lot of bad press but for me has show that he is starting to look like a real good footballer!!

Of course i''d want him to sign another deal - very few people would argue otherwise. However, am i right in saying that when Peter Grant signed him up, he was ''offered one of the best deals he''d ever seen a youngster given?'' or similar? If he''s on high wages, you''d hope he''d take a cut. Obviously depends if we''re back in the championship or not.It''s just, i remember when he first broke into the team people claimed there were Manchester United scouts etc. I''m just hoping the club didnt panic and offer him a hugely excessive deal.

I very much doubt he is in the same bracket as Cureton, Russell, Doherty and Hoolahan.
