Taxing 0 Posted January 27, 2009 Much as it goes against the grain to want the team I support to lose, reluctantly, I want to see a Southampton victory tonight to show the Celebrity Cook and her Cronies what a terrible mistake they made appointing Gunn as manager. The quicker they realise this and appoint an experienced manager the greater our chances of avoiding the drop. Good as he was making a great living out of being the Norwich PR Ambassador and Player Recruitment Thingee, as a Manager Gunn can only fire blanks. Just you wait and see. I will be proved right. SnakePit Lassy 0 Posted January 27, 2009 Im sorry but what kind of fan are you? The one game gunn was in charge of, he won!He hans''t any managerial experience. but you need to give him a chance. I dont particularly like the board, but they only contracted Gunn and co, until the summer. At least it wasn''t a 3 and half year deal..

TheCardinal 0 Posted January 27, 2009 People seem to forget exactly who else was available.Curbishley? If he was interested, he''d have got the job for sure.Boothroyd? Succeeded only in circumstances totally different to what we have here. Ince? Arrogant and unproven. Robins? Unproven and a question mark if he was interested.Everyone speaks of Gunny''s inexperience - but fact of the matter is there isn''t a single candidate ideal for the job. Everyone of them would have brought big concerns to the job. And for everyone that could''ve got the job, there would have been an idiot prepared to come on here and spout some rubbish about wishing the team to lose so the board could see the mistake they made and sorted it out. People should get behind the manager and more importantly the team, and cheer us on to three big points. OTBC.
