James Kent 0 Posted November 17, 2008 It seems to me that whenever Jamie plays his confidence is at rock bottom. If we were to send him out for a month or two and he scored some goals, surely that would benefit us for when he came back.
WeAreYellows49 0 Posted November 17, 2008 Well him being at NCFC at the moment is doing him no good, his confidence is at an all time low that''s for sure. He is a confidence player and always has been.It would benefit him in the long term IMHO if he got to play regular football under a manager that actually cares, and can give him the confidence he needs to go out and score goals. Official Joe 0 Posted November 17, 2008 As much as he is well paid and missing good opportunities etc., I do feel for him abit. A loan might suit all parties and whether we are now paying Chadwick''s wages now he is back, perhaps to balance the books Curo might have to go out on loan.Perhaps we could ask for Martin back from Luton and they take Curo. The loan seems to have helped Martin and Spillane, albeit a lower league.
lincoln canary (& Golden Coppel) 0 Posted November 17, 2008 to be honest jamie cureton is the least of my concerns right now, i could not give a monkeys whether hes on the bench playing for the reserves or playing for another team on loan! rumours up here any how is that scunthorpe are interested in a proven championship goal scorer on loan and they hope to speak to him early this week, all points to J.C i reckon
lucky green trainers 0 Posted November 17, 2008 i would some goal size barn doors put up at colney, and offer curo, crofty, hooley and matty patty 2 hours shooting practice each day...i would get leezers to practice his one on ones over, and over, and over again...until he could prove to me he could better than hit the shot straight at the keeper...i would play bell on the right wing,so he could hit shots with his preferred right foot - that might be good enough///i would get sibs --- sorry - his he coming back???i would get lupes boxing in the morning, and playing rugby in the afternoon - if it was good enough for michael owen to toughen up, it should be good enough for him...by jan - we''d have one hell of goal scoring team!!! First Wizard 0 Posted November 17, 2008 I would loan Jamie out, he doesn''t need City, and its booing fans, to ruin the end of his career![:|]

Do not send Cureton on loan , return Koroma to Pompey , Lita goes back after the Ipswich game , we are then left with Sibierski ( til Jan ) Lupoli for the season and Cureton - so his games will come I am against the amount of loan players we have , far to many and we are over reliant on them
AndyJR 0 Posted November 17, 2008 I would send him out on a months loan with a 24hr recall to show we still value him, but want him to get his confidence back up.

[/quote]Confidence has gone. Unfortunately he was one of the squad that GR has just labelled the worst squad of players that he has ever seen.As were; Marshall: Otsemobar: Docherty: Drury; Russell: Fotheringham: Croft:Shackell, Dublin and Huckerby have left.It was basically this squad of players (and Pattison) that went on such a good run and saved us from relegation. It''s a wonder that any of those players have much confidence in themselves. Maybe they haven''t.
kdncfc 0 Posted November 17, 2008 I''d send him out on loan with a view to selling him in January for 200k, he''s 34 now and is hardly likely to get any better. He''s not good enough, he seems to have lost what pace he had and doesn''t even seem to be getting into the right positions anymore. Even when he gets a chance as on Saturday he doesn''t even look like he''s going to score.

blahblahblah 2 Posted November 17, 2008 Am I right in thinking he''s on 199 goals ? Keep him, and send him on next time we get a penalty. He scores the pen, gets the 200 out of the way, and gets back to scoring goals.
barclay_canary 0 Posted November 18, 2008 why dont we loan out all the ncfc players. give them all a chance to actualy play some football and score some goals, then bring them back in january when our loanees go away. that way we have a match fit team ready to play.
