No it was another **** who scored for Senegal.

And as regards the spitting incident, a QPR pal of mine who was in the away section says he saw it happen. As I recall, he was getting the ball back from a throw in and something occurred between the fans and there was a sudden surge down the front of the away section to him and from my view (although it was from the River End) it was obvious something unsavoury had occuured though from where I was it was impossible to tell exactly what happened.

I read later that there was a scout in the stand from a French club, might have been Lens, and he played like a man possessed that day (still had zero positional sense though!), and got kicked all over the place by the QPR players.

I think the QPR game was his last one for Norwich.

No problems,Shaun. I don''t dislike the Welshman,just feel that he had more potential than he realised.The other one never impressed me,although he was unlucky with injury.

i was told from a steward in the Away end that day that they actually chucked a QPR fan out for racial comments made towards ****... if true and if **** did spit at the man then well done **** is all i can say!
