I''m not privy to private info about this but I have a suspicion that the recession has a part to play in this. Their business is unfortunately caught up in the sub prime mortgage situation and I suspect they are just having to "cut their cloth" as we older folk say.  Yes, it is a pity but difficult times are ahead for everyone - including football clubs.
