arrdee 2 Posted September 2, 2008 Now you lovely old City fans , those that didn''t receive my e-mail, o.k.my infamous e-mail explaining how the Turners intended to take over the club and do their very best for us , their plans were in place but no one could have seen how the economic climate would leave the resource for financing our great club depleted , a thousand pity''s for our club , our wonderful fans, also a thousand pity''s for Andrew and Sharon who are avid fans of our great club and always will be . A thousand pity''s they came up short . Now you lovely old City fans don''t worry about any short fall because us Pink un Pickers intend to put this right , with the Free Bet this weekend with a big win , you can all help too you know....arrdee. Their business is unfortunately caught up in the sub prime mortgage situation and I suspect they are just having to "cut their cloth" as we older folk say. Yes, it is a pity but difficult times are ahead for everyone - including football clubs.

Buncey 1 Posted September 2, 2008 No worries. Malta, Luxembourg, Leichenstein, Andorra, Faeroe Islands and Suriname all to win!(Note that would win us a cool £6,371,208,130 on the exchanges on betfair... maybe we could slide a dead cert in there just to make sure of our win-fall!) whoareyou? 0 Posted September 2, 2008 Much as i would like to agree with you, Cam...i think it''s fair to say that only some or maybe most of football clubs will feel the pinch...after £60 million was spent/wasted? in Manchester last night, they hardly look like they are short of cash![:(]
ron obvious 1,711 Posted September 2, 2008 So perhaps there were no bust-ups, lies, or conspiracies? Perhaps it was just events. So perhaps we should all shrug our shoulders & get on with it as best we can.

Antartica are 1,000,000/0. A bet of £0 would win you £1,000,000... I don''t think the risk is worth it to be honest...
