I remember the post called "info" on the 22nd that stated this guy had Info and Lupoli would sign, as well as Iverson and a young center back.

A week later we sign Lupoli, we sign Omoz (young center back) and news today states an un-named championship club is in for Stefan Iverson, and... If you look at Glenn''s 7 to 14 day delay on this signing matching up to Stefan''s club insisting a replacement is required before he is sold... it looks like we are favorites to be the "Un-named club"

A lot of criticism came his way for posting this and two of them have come true, and Steffan looks likely... hmm... interesting info source here!

Just one problem there my friend, Omo is a right back and was signed as such.  He''s only played in the centre because Doc''s injured and Kennedy wasn''t available. (Shax and Stef being left siders)

Maybe Kennedy classes as a young CB? Not certain...

It could well be that Omoz may never play a right back for us, Otsemobor has done such a good attacking job and works so well with Croft it would be a shame to break this partnership up, maybe he was brought in to play at CB?

Will be a very interesting season opener that''s for sure!

Actually, if you are going to be ultra-picky, according to my Fulham mates Omozusi was initially a c/b who was transferred to r/b a season or two back, so is perfectly at home there.

The club said on Friday they expected there would be more announcements during the coming week so presumably some deals are well under way.

Rosenborg are willing to sell Iversen, but only if they can get in a replacement, they''ve been heavily linked with Cooper from the MLS but no deal has been done yet

Interesting stuff - however can Iversen really be cosidered as a ''target man''? I would say he''s more in the Lupoli / Cureton second striker role

Have you seen the size of him?!  His arse is bigger than Curo''s body!I know what you mean though - he''s not a ''target man'' in the Drogba mould; he''s more the type that charges into the box taking man, ball & assorted lumps of turf into the net. Plus he is a fantastic header of the ball.

I didn''t explain myself well - I don''t mean that Iversen is similar in stature to Curo or Lupoli, just that he tends to play off a front man rather than as a target man. Fopr Norway he used to play wide-right or left or even centre-mid on occasions as he''s better running at defenders or coming on to the ball. Mind you they have Jon Carew and nobody is gonna seem like a target man compared to him!!
