How about this for a topic:

"How Many Nipples Do You Have?"

photo evidence may be required.

Its because all embryos at initial development stage are inherently

"female" until the Y chromosone is added to the mix, as it were.

There is no evolutionary reason for males to have nipples, but then

there is also no reason for male mammals not to have

nipples.  There is no disadvantage in males having them, so there

is no reason for them to have been "phased out" of males through

natural selection.  For males not to have nipples, the embryo

development process would have to be changed and there is no

evolutionary reason for this to have happened. (or something like that)

Or, if you''re a creationist: "because God said so."

So there. [:)]

Ooh, if we''re getting points for scientific accuracy, the male nipple

can be considered a "vestigal" organ, ie a former function or feature

that is now redundant.  They are not used for regulating body temperature or picking up Jazz FM...

Is the appendix and tonsils one of those too?

Yup indeed (as far as I know...)... bear in mind this isn''t my area of

expertise by any means, there was just an interesting article in New

Scientist a few months ago about it all... (geek!)[:$]

Or maybe Archant have only just realised men have them?  Probably

read a mention of them on here, looked down and said "what the hell are

those?"  Did David Cuffley write the article, perchance??[:P]

Delia''s Devonshire Dirtbox wrote the following post at 07/07/2008 3:27 PM:

Men also have a half formed clitorus, down behind the shaft about where it should be if we were women.

go on have a feel!

Bet that wasn''t mentioned in the article.

This information was actually released in a statement by Peter Cullum in a thinly veiled attempt to deflect attention from his ( non) bid for the club!!!

[/quote]I suppose making an appointment with one''s GP to ask might be considered wasting the NHS''s time.

Another question.DO male nipples actually grow back if you freeze them and flick them off?I''ve always wanted to know if anybody has tried it, or is it really just a myth?!
