Soon to be best supported team in Div 1

Only 8 games in and we look like we''ve already been relegated. Tonight''s performance was nothing short of pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. Can''t see anything changing, a new manager may bring in hope but really - are our players good enough to get us out of the bottom 3?

you really neded an answer to that? Chris "no goals" Brown. Chris Martin.. 15 games no goals.. Jamie Cureton.. not good enough... Lee Croft, runs around but no end product...

and i hate to say it but Darren Huckerby is now past it.

Time to rebuild and plan on how to get out of league 1 next season....

only an idiot will predict a succesful season now.

jas :)

I believe we have the players to keep us in this league, but I think they haven''t been playing for Grant for sometime, and when that happens you might as well call it a day.

If Grant has a failing I think it is his poor man management skills and in particular his slating of players in public. I notice even after the game that he said some of the bigger players let him down tonight, and once again blamed them rather than his tactics.

Yes but some of his bigger players did let him down, again.

I know its nearly always the manager who carries the can, but just for once wouldnt it be quite refreshing to see the real culprits, ie the players, take the flak. Tricky one I know because everyone''s favourite scapegoat wasnt playing tonight but maybe people should start counting the tackles that Drury made (or rather didnt), the number of mistakes Shackell made, and just how balls did Marshall drop?

These are extremely well paid professionals who are not delivering, and it aint Delia''s fault and it aint Grant''s.

No mate i''m afraid your wrong, only an idiot could accept relegation after a mere 10 games, I can accept that we have a weaker squad than many in this league, and even the thought of promotion is out of the question with this currrent squad but under a new manager with new ideas this team is more than capable of avoiding relegation without too much trouble. If you give up your right to beleive then you might aswell give up your right as a fan.
