The dark arts; Against football rules?

The ironic thing is Man City complaining about this whilst facing 115 charges for cheating over the last 10 years

That mock-up of the new Old Trafford further down the page looks like a boiled sweet.

Taking the lead usually gets rid of all the dark arts.

Silva going down like he'd been hit by a train from Trossard, no doubt he was fouled just he was trying to make that a booking before Trossard helped him out.  Haaland throwing the ball at Gabriel's head after the goal...  After a couple of solid defensive display's people are having a pop at Arsenal, like a throw back to the George Graham days.  At the highest level everybody is after every little margin they can get - if you want a return to more sporting behaviour take the money out of the game, remove the fan / media pressure... that ship has sailed I think.

It's always been part of the game, though I must say I've gotten quite weary of top-level football and this is a big reason why.

It's just worth too much money to those at the top not to snatch every possible advantage.

The article refers to sh1thousery last season, not just this.

I think Arteta is very much an acquired taste and I'm not sure this current Arsenal setup is anywhere near as popular as that of the Wengerboyz. Totally irrelevant but I can't stand them or their fans.

And being the absolute masters of rotational fouling. Personally think they can get in the sea.

And people wonder why football is such a toxic sport when this carry on is happening between the two best teams in the league.

Would it hurt anyone to not question the referee and agree he was right or admit afterwards that they were wasting time.
