daz 72 Posted February 17 Blackburn away next who would have thought easy ish 3pts now new manager and were 2 up away vs Preston today not bad going tbf. Sunderland at home think too much for them. The it's boro away who just somehow beat Leicester away, hopefully they don't start turning it on.

Virtual reality 748 Posted February 17 It does look a tricky run but these teams will now also be worrying about facing us in the form we are in.
Fen Canary 879 Posted February 18 I’ll be happy with 5 points from that lot, if we can get 6 or 7 that’s fantastic
Capt. Pants 4,300 Posted February 18 75pts should certainly get us into the top 6, about 1.85 per game for the 13 games remaining. 5 or 6 pts will keep us on track and those 2 home wins this week have been massive.
Yellow Fever 3,844 Posted February 18 WBA play their game in hand midweek (Plymouth away - tricky) while Hull play Southampton away. Can't see Hull winning! WBA then play Hull when we play Blackburn next Saturday. They can't both win. Not inconceivable that we could go 5th! (Coventry play Preston on the Friday before - tricky too) It's in our hands!

Just had a look at the betting odds and surprised to see Blackburn given as fairly clear favourites. Guess that's based largely on our shabby away record. We want to finish top 6 need to improve on our poor away form.
RobJames 905 Posted February 18 To keep us on target for a 6th place finish we need an average of 1.5 points per game. We have been well above that with 17 points out of 7 games, in 2024. In fact if we carry on at that rate over the final 13 games, we would finish on 82.5 points. Of those 13 games we only have the binners and Leicester to play from the top six , and looking at those games I can see us winning at least six. Not so much because of the opposition, but because of the form we are in. Dare to dream

ZLF 276 Posted February 21 Need to improve our away form and sustain our run. Would be great to get our first run of 3 league wins this season on sat. Suspect 7pts from these 3 are needed to get into the top
