When you lose wickets with cavalier batting, 50 ovs gives you time to build a platform and rebuild before increasing in the last 10 ovs if you have wickets in hand. Umpire's call would have been enough for Pakistan to win then - for the sake of this competition, and for everyone bar SA and the Aussies. I mean, regardless of the NZ - Aus result tomorrow, you feel the top 4 are pretty much set in stone. A real nail- biter, but the competition needed a Pakistan win. Probably the only exciting finish in the tournament so far This world cup has been a bit dull, apart from a couple of upsets.
