I had a lot of respect for Mr Cullen and what he achieved when he was here previously and would like to see him return here in some capacity.....

Rob Newman's a decent shout and working alongside Adams would be in my opinion a good pairing..They've both played the game and also managed..and they have experience and no interest in crag hopping, vegetable plots...or possibly considering installing a climbing wall at Colney....  🤭

I can't see why we would be appointing external advisors for fulfilling this role and then going to people we already know and have ties with the club?  That feels a bit like reversing charges to my own home to speak to my missus in the room upstairs.

There is a distinct difference (imo) from being a Sporting Director, and being involved in player recruitment which knowing Cullen's background I would assume is more from the financial side rather than strategy and 'data'.  If the club is rejigging the function of certain roles then fine, but I would suggest that Cullen would be more suited to Zoe Webber's role than Stuart's.

To be honest I'd be very disappointed if the club decide to throw the SD role in the bin just because one person is moving on.  It's a specialist role and not the role of someone who has just been 'involved' in player recruitment previously.

I agree there are differences, but his aspiration may be Sporting Director and it's a role he could do with the support of Neil Adams? Having been a CEO and Executive Director he will have dealt with most of the same challenges.

Tom’s been learning the ropes at Norwich for a while now. Maybe he could step up and make auntie proud.

Yep, that's more likely to be the answer, keep it in the family.... Unfortunately!

They have got to waste money somewhere. It is in the genes.

Sounds like when we appointed Adams-We scoured the whole of Europe and found that the best man was at the club-25 years ago.

It's to make sure we don't actually appoint anyone so Webber can withdraw his resignation and stay at the club if no one offers him a job.
