                                                    WEARY WORTHINGTON RESIGNS

Worthington finaly resigns after the Canaries 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Leeds at Elland Road. Leeds tore the City defence apart after just 2 minutes & went 2-0 up on the 20 minute mark. Worthington,an astute tactition tried to change it around at half time by putting Earnshaw in goal & Robert Green up front along side the ancient Thorne. After long chants of ''Worthy out'' &  ''Your not worthy anymore'' the 2000 following faithfull started to drift away from Elland Road with 15 minutes left on the clock. 5-0 down at the time, who could blame them! On 89 minutes totally against the run of play Huckerby went on a mazey run down the wing, entered the box & fell over.Worthington was not happy with Huckerby & was shouting at him from the sidelines for playing ''Roy of the Rovers football''.At that time the ball was cleared & hit the grounded Huckerby on the head & looped over goalie to make it 5-1. An estatic Worthington ran towards the City supporters in a David Pleat style way shouting out ''I knew we would come good in the end'' only to find there were 12 or so KTF''s left.

What will this board be like if City win and win?  Yes, I know it ain''t likely and Yes I know we will more than likely get stuffed (we will not be the first team that leeds have beaten this season) but there would be a lot of really pi**ed of posters if we win. Also IF we were to win it will not be anything to do with Worthy! he is only responsible if / when we lose!!

What a sad and pathetic posting, this is a new low we are suposed to be a supporters group, don''t people like you realise just how much this type of posting can effect general moral including the team who we are suposed to suport ?

I do not bury my head in the sand and pretend all in the garden is a bed of roses but while Nigel Worthington is in charge we should all support him and our club.

The Board are doing their part, we should all do the same.

Look at this the other way round. While we all support Nigel Worthington he will remain in charge.
