Having a child which you are highly likely never to be around, for their 18th birthday, at least, is just irresponsible and selfish.

Agree with above sentiment ...very selfish to have a child at an  age that means you are very unlikely to see them as an adult .. adults need their parents too.

How depressing it must be to have a child that you will not see grow into an adult. Nearly every major milestone will be missed by De Niro. 

I couldn't think of anything more tragic......well I can but it's still very sad.
