cambridgeshire canary 7,698 Posted July 29, 2022 So, after what has seemed like a long, long time at long last the championship is back tonight with its first match of the season at 8PM. Â But who are we hoping wins? Or are we doing the sensible thing and hoping for a draw?
Cantiaci Canary 610 Posted July 29, 2022 A comfortable Burnley win I think ... the Terriers have lost their manager and some top talent (especially Sinani!) and won't be the same this season.
Newtopia 569 Posted July 29, 2022 I am really hoping for a Huddersfield win. Burnley on the back foot would be delicious, how patient would their owners be.
KeiranShikari 1,524 Posted July 29, 2022 Don't care this early. Wonder how many of ours will complain if Tino Anjorin plays well.
AJ 1,345 Posted July 29, 2022 It might seem at long, long last - but it's actually a week before last season kicked off!
keelansgrandad 6,680 Posted July 29, 2022 Well McNeill has just gone so Burnley have lost so many players, and their good CBs, that they will all have to get to know each other. Just like Cardiff who will have a lot of players who haven't played together much.
Unhinged Canary 375 Posted July 29, 2022 Don't think this warrants a new thread and don't know where else to post it. I didn't know who the Cardiff Manager was until a moment ago. I just had a look on Wiki to double-check it was the same Steve Morison who I knew of. (Clearly it was!) What amused me was the picture on there is him in a Norwich training top looking like he's signing an autograph. I'd have thought at the very least someone would have been able to find a picture of him in a Millwall shirt. I'm not complaining mind.....

Or did I dream Farke’s departure (with victory praise ringing in his ears), Webber’s **** sign, and the blood, sweat and tears mixing with the organic fertiliser of my newly-laid lawn
