EADT Headline made me laugh....

Recommended Posts

I guess they're one of the bigger clubs in their division, in terms of squad size, budget and average attendance.

Which makes it all the more hilarious that they're still floundering around down there.

Are they a bigger club at that level than we are at Championship level? A few years ago, I'd have said definitely now I'm not sure. Most people expect us to be there or thereabouts every time we're in the Championship. Are Ipswich viewed the same in League One? I'd say not even without my yellow and green glasses on.

Each year they remain the smaller they get!

Mark Robins says it will benefit 'bigger clubs' but doesn't mention 1p5wich specifically. They also claim they have one of the 'best squads', we'll have to wait and see about that one.

I would argue we've been the much bigger fish since our re-emergence from League One.

Big year for them, this. Probably as 'put together' as at any point since they've been down there and McKenna seems fresh enough to get something going. As with the past few managers though, it'll come down to how he does when the going gets tough that'll dictate whether they challenge.

Lot of good teams down there, mind.

Quote “ The Blues have, without doubt, one of the biggest and best squads in League One “ , shame they finished 11th last season.
