Russian league players available for short term loans

Recommended Posts

FIFA has today declared that non-russian players in Russian league are allowed to terminate their contract temporarily, making them free agents who can be signed for rest of the season to other leagues. Seems also apply players in Ukraine league.

There might be interesting chances to grab some reinforcements for reasonable price.

I wonder if we see us or any other EPL teams acting on that market.

As the club seemed to make zero effort to strengthen during the actual transfer window I don't see us doing anything here but we live in hope.

Nevermind how despite Normann being a good player he's sadly walking injured 24/7 and does he really want to spend a season in the 2nd divison when he could join any other prem team for free?

Is he really that good though? What other premier league midfield does he walk into?

Would require another Prem team to be interested in him.

The agreement expires on 30th June. It doesn't impact Normann as he's already on loan to us anyway.

What happens next season is another matter.

If FIFA had some balls they’d let Russian players break their contracts without penalty. Also a transfer ban on Russian clubs.

That’s something that would actually properly  hurt Russian clubs.
