A player like Origi wanting to play in the Premiership only has 19 choices, if you discount the club he's leaving

Most clubs play with a lone striker and 18 of those clubs already have a better or more established striker than Origi

It's unlikely he would come to Norwich but if he really wants to be No.1 striker and play in each and every game of the 2022  Prem season and be guaranteed a place on the pitch and not the bench .............

Another ambitious player, Sky sports saying player is keen to stay in Premiership, we need a striker who will push, score and succeed Pukki, and is rumoured to be available for £10m this month, as free agent in summer.

Would you have him, if we can find funds?

I'd sign him in a shot if it was a possibility, unfortunately though, I can't see us matching his wages or him wanting to come... but, we can dream

Origi would comfortably get a midtable prem club and likely secure near enough 100k p/w on a 4 year contract.

Transfer fee £10 million. Six months wages £2 million. Total outlay £12 million. Pay back if he keeps us up around £60 million. Bargain if it works. A big if.

Sign a striker and still have no one to create anything for him. Can we just forget about signing Origi, we can't afford him and he will have much better options than coming here.

I have heard it from a good source that he has moved into a caravan in Hemsby. Expect the signing to be done soon. One to watch.

Only the best accommodation for future signings.....Just a big Mac meal with go large fries and a Cadbury's egg Mcflurry for pud an' all washed down with a large diet Pepsi......Then he's more or less ours.....

We must be pushin' the boat out......image.jpeg.96c14cf96985756a2a9a65963fda1f03.jpeg......"All aboard!".....

Good point. We certainly won't have Cantwell to create anything for him with a price tag that seems to have declined from £40 million to £15 million in only 6 months.

Ignoring the fact he wouldn't come here anyway, on what planet does a 26 year old Premier League footballer agree to a 6 month contract?

Agreed. So sign on a longer contract, sell if relegated. There are risks but the Club have found ways to solve such problems before eg. Huckerby. The reality is that flair players and goalscorers attract higher wages.
