cambridgeshire canary 7,805 Posted September 28, 2021 How awful it must be to finish in the top ten every season, make it to the finals of various cups and never have to worry about relegation Oh, the horror spurs fans must go through

Whilst we would snap hands off for that every season Spurs are a much bigger club than us and have aspirations of top 4 finishes and winning trophies every season so can see why their fans might be a little unhappy, they have declined since they left WHL. They were also dross on Sunday against Arsenal.
Duncan Edwards 2,424 Posted September 28, 2021 (edited) Are there any truly content football fans? Maybe there will b a few clubs where they have a sustained period of 'satisfaction', but for the most part it's never enough. Man City fans are probably reasonably happy but winning the league or at least being in the running to, is now almost an expectation. They haven't won the Champions League either. United fans have signed Sancho, Ronaldo etc but "Ole Out" trends after any setback and then there are the Glazers. Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle all think they should be challenging for honours. The list goes on. Maybe it's just the lot of the football fan to be ever thirsty and yet the only source of water is that leaking, dripping tap of eternal misery. 🙂 Edited September 28, 2021 by Duncan Edwards
AJ 1,359 Posted September 28, 2021 Their summer was an absolute shambles, the only disappointment is they didn't waste a load of money on a DM so we could have had Skipp!

A rather strange thread title in relation to the content Purple.

"Oh for the days of 'Feed the Goat' grabbing a lucky winner against teams like Port Vale. That were entertainment!" 😆
