Do we have 11 players for today game?!

Recommended Posts

That's why we've got an academy.

Totally guessing, but I suspect it'll be something like Gunn; Mumba, Zimmermann, Omobamidele, Byram; Gilmour, Sorensen, Cantwell, Dowell, Rashica, Idah for the starting line-up.

No, there is no way we have 11 players. Zero chance. We are turning up to a friendly match only to tell them we don't have enough players. We sure don't have 11, and we sure don't have an academy full of players who can also enter the team.

Byram was supposed to be close to fully fit at the back end of last season but as things were going well they didn't feel the need to rush him and run any risk of a relapse. I'd be VERY surprised if he doesn't get some good game time in this one. Also the ideal low-level opponent to bed new players in, so I reckon all available newbies will get plenty as well.

Why?

McClean and Pukki and Byram recovering from injuries ... none serious.

Krul, Hanley, Gilmour, Placheta in Euros, one way or the other.

Rachica and Lees showing their wives the City shopping experience.

Can't glean the rest.

Oh! Just Gibson left. House hunting?

Plenty still missing Krul Hanley Bryam Gibson Mclean Gilmour Rachica Lees Pukki Placheta

Lees ?

"Max Aarons and Dimitris Giannoulis were both absent. Farke confirmed after the game in west Norfolk Aarons suffered a minor knock in a morning training session. Giannoulis has tweaked his hamstring and is expected to be out for ‘12 to 14 days’.

Tim Krul and Teemu Pukki will return to training next week after their exploits at Euro2020."

No word on Byram though - could be another Matt Jarvis, as he has spent almost exactly 3 years out with various injuries in the 5 years 3 months since March 2016

Hopefully though we will see him back

Sounds like a 70s glam psychedelica outfit from Alice Springs. Byram Gilmour the bass-flute-playing creative lead.

Back to OP, was placenamecanary sufficiently satisfied with yesterday’s run-out - or still unconvinced about the club and its levels of professionalism?
