India v England

Recommended Posts

Rishahb Pant. Great favorite of mine in the IPL. When he is behind the castle he is a non stop chatterer though. Get on my wick a bit.

One of the Sri Lankans was doing that as well. It does get on your nerves.

They just had a gorgeous view of the stadium and beach behind it. Slightly more appealing than the winter landscape here.

All keeper do it but he can be a bit over the top. He was told by the ump to tone it down a bit during our knock.

another stunning catch from Stokes.

Can't see them enforcing the follow on on this pitch.

Feels like classic Root captaincy, he always seems really cautious about declaring in these situations.

Indeed! I think they also have in mind India's recent "against the odds"  brilliant run chase in the last test v the Aussies

Listening to it on Talk****e and it's actually OK. Little to no adverts during the game and the commentators are mostly pretty good.

England need about 400 runs lead before they put them into bat.

you don't even appear to understand cricket either

India will go into bat when England are all out in their second innings

not when England put them in

Watching on C4 at the moment instead of sky. Its good to hear A Cooks thoughts on the reasons for playing on as against declaring.

Yep! I think Anderson will be looking happily at a few that have swung out there today

Forgive me for gloating but I just can't resist. What a performance!

38 years-old and bowling better than ever. The man is a machine. And so very clever to bowl the cutter to Pant instead of the reverse swing.

Victory is nigh!

Interesting stat: England have bowled 2 no-balls in both Indian innings, India bowled 27 no-balls.

Fantastic performace from England's finest. Won pretty much every session of play.

And well done Channel 4. Great to see the glorious game back on terrestrial tv. Very good coverage with excellent analysis from straightforward experts rather than the over-blown egos of some of the usual suspects on other channels.
